Are there any American cities that really do this well? When I compare Boston to a lot of us cities on the preservation of green spaces I feel like it’s not that bad. Charles used to be bad but seems to be in decent shape these days. When I compare Boston to providence waterfront - Boston is quite a bit nicer.

It's also fictional like the rest of them. People need to make up their minds, do they want documentaries or fictional entertainment. Because you can't have both. And what people want to watch as entertainment are these shows. Doesn't mean the majority of people think, oh their painting the cops as good-so in real life they're all good. The majority of shows, not just cop shows, have the characters doing all sorts of stuff that is not true to reality. Do people really want to watch cops that mirror reality....because we have news for that?

With an illustrator's skill set, you may have a role in IT in user interface design for a software company, or in diagramming technical layouts for networking and hardware based systems. Both of those are things that AI probably isn't going to be able to replicate since they require non-image inputs, i.e. text systems.

Going back to school is scary, but it can be worth it. I had a "worthless" undergraduate degree (English....) and tacked on a master's degree in business technology. I worked part time in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) first as a network technician, then as their junior systems administrator, while I was getting my degree. I landed a job first as a general IT analyst, and now as a business analyst for a software team.

Ironically, I spent the last two months..... in Photoshop. Making new icons for our software as part of a user interface refresh. I was the only person on the team with any kind of art training whatsoever, so.....

Well hopefully it will improve if flix bought them. Gh is almost the only place that goes to “rural areas” and had a bigger route.

I was kind of in your shoes when I was I college. Here’s the thing…all of us ladies are still friends 20+ years later and not one of us thinks about weddings anymore as we all realized those are just snapshots in time and hell—most of them are divorced and remarried at this point.

Do what you want to do. Feel your feelings. I personally would not put in the same level of effort for Sarah as Elizabeth though.

And yet his career shows otherwise. You don't like him for some reason and seem intent on belittling his achievements despite them contradicting your reasons for disliking him. He is one of the most recognizable gaming journalists in the world and he genuinely cares about gaming. The guy clearly has the skills and has been very successful because of it.
