You’ve yet to offer even a hint of how you would have things work because you are complaining about things which are fundamental to the human condition and cannot be changed. You think you see things from a sage and complex perspective when really you’re whining about the facts of life that every well adjusted human has already accepted.

No one gives a singular fuck that you didn’t give consent to being born, no one wants to hear you complain about it either so stop wasting oxygen.

I sincerely hope you find a path to happiness but I’m not holding my breath, you are a miserable fuck who is content to wallow in self pity over that which cannot be changed.

Isn’t that the whole point of this? This whole platform? In a way, it’s endearing that you have been able to hold onto your ability to default to truth and trust. I hope you never change. I react strongly because I despise seeing people being taken advantage of. In this case, I think in a collective sense, those who default to truth with this story were used, meaning that you were used by him. I think he was being manipulative, and I don’t have any tolerance for that.

Ya know what? I kinda hope they are listening! I’ll sacrifice the ability to freely discuss my private matters at the table in exchange for being able to whisper “I sure could use more Diet Coke” and a waiter would instantly appear. I’ll make that trade all day. Besides, what’s getting said in private at Texas Roadhouse? Has anyone ever said “Look, we have a very secret and private matter to discuss, let’s head to Texas Roadhouse and hash this out.”

I've been looking for a dumber phone as well, but there are 3 or 4 apps I really need to get along with life.

Think

  • banking app to pay bills,
  • government authenticator app to file taxes and other govt stuff,
  • authenticator app to login at websites,
  • optionally WhatsApp for family business

The last one I can replace with sms if needed.

If a phone like those classic nokia remakes would run on android, and let me install those 3 apps, I'd switch in a heartbeat. They may even be highly overpriced.
