Definitely. I’ve lived in a few different regions throughout the country. While housing is more expensive, other cost of living expenses aren’t too different IMO. Also, if you don’t mind a bit of a commute (1 HRish) there are a lot of job opportunities in the Boston area

Reply to What is known about pain enhancement? For instance, are there drugs that are the opposite of analgesics? If so, what are they and how do they work with neurons/neurotransmitters? by DollyPartWithOn
Acting at the local level there are several naturally-produced molecules the potentiate pain. These include prostaglandin, histamine, and leukotriens. With regard to pain thay generally work by lowering the threshold of pain receptors.

I think it's almost certainly U-Haul trucks, since they come in different heights and they all seem to use that chrome edging. Add in drivers that should never be allowed to drive box trucks and it's pretty clear why this tree is being abused like that.

Good thing Muscovy is going to lose!
Even the IMF thinks so - this loan is evidence of that.

They weren't. They maintain a permanent residence in Virginia but spent a month staying with friends in Boston. https://www.reddit.com/r/boston/comments/11xsve9/update_after_visiting_boston_in_october_the_rmv/jd4ne5h/

Agree 100%. It also annoyed me that they are now only there to get fancy sperm whale oil (no mention of unobtanium).
I do think the vibrancy in his world building is amazing and not to be underestimated in its impact on reception.

Reply to comment by _BELEAF_ in My Grandfather, on a Canadian corvette in WWII. The ship escorted vital supply ships to Britain, and was almost totally unarmed, with cardboard gun-shaped decoys on deck. He worked below deck in the boiler room during the U-boat threat, and lived to tell the tales. by _BELEAF_
If he was in a corvette, I would think not. They were lightly armed. They did have front (and maybe rear) cannons for surface encounter, but their primary purpose was as a U-boat hunter.
I believe there were ships at the start of the war that employed fake guns, but I think that was before the corvettes came into service

I think most in New Haven county watch WTNH, don't they? Guessing it's a very biased vote based on viewership.

Yeah, it's fine to invest in a different TDF. Just be careful with Fidelity to pick a TDF that has "index" in the title as they also have actively managed TDFs with much higher expense ratios. FDKLX should be what you're looking for.
