Reply to AI investment by Svitii

If AI takes off, it will be used in all sorts of industries. Look at index funds - you could easily bet on the wrong AI horse if you invest in specific companies, but index funds can cover large swaths of the market, and if AI takes off it will affect the whole market.

This is a lawsuit about Amazon demanding sellers not list their products for one price on Amazon and a lower price on other sites. I don't know why anyone cares about this, Amazon can set their own rules for their own site, and people can choose to follow them or not and go elsewhere. No one's forcing people to list their products on Amazon, so no one should have any kind of standing here. I also don't understand how it's non-competitive. It's EXATLY competitive, as listing the same prices everywhere is just fine, as near as I can tell.

This reminds me of me, before my depression was fully treated. I did get outside - sailing in the summer, broomball in the winter. But still…. I got therapy and medication. I still remember the moment, driving to sailing, when I realized I was really looking forward to it! I’d forgotten what that felt like. Depression doesn’t take weekends off. Yours may be situational depression caused by feeling/being trapped in your industry. For me, we’ll my brain doesn’t work quite right. Either way, since your situation isn’t changing, let a professional help you get to a better mental space. It is oh so totally worth it!

This was the obvious outcome once the press got involved and, as an added bonus, the correct outcome based on the wording of the law. I had originally assumed he had admitted to one of the exceptions that would require registration (letting a MA resident drive or using it for business), but it sounds like the RMV just messed up and didn't have any easy way to fix the mistake.

What do you mean, ‘affect the ability to pair bond’?? Sorry, I don’t mean to sound rude, but that is honestly the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

People will bond and become attached to someone if they feel a connection with them and like them for who they are as a person. How many people you have had sex with prior is irrelevant. It has no baring whatsoever on whether you will bond and have a connection with the next person.

My husband had slept with 40 women before we met. He is the most loving and caring man to me. Our bond is stronger than any I have ever had. We trust each other completely, and hence him being totally open and honest with me about his life before me.

People can have attachment issues because of childhood trauma with parents/family, but sexual partners from one night stands because you are just living carefree, not so much!

I’m thinking your view on this is cultural/religious?? I understand your view. I just don’t believe the two things are related.

Yeah, that last part, unprotected sex etc. she just seems like she doesn’t care. She seems very selfish tbh. You seem like a good dude! I would try and put it behind you and move forward to find someone that deserves you.

From the article:

>The man's neck abscess was detected and surgically treated to drain it, according to the doctors. Following this, the x-ray revealed nothing abnormal, and the patient received a course of antifungal medication.
>
>"After two years of follow-up, the patient was absolutely fine, and there is no evidence of recurrence," the researchers wrote.
