Body language is a type of communication in which physical behaviors, as opposed to words, are used to express or convey information. Such behavior includes facial expressions, body posture, gestures, eye movement, touch and the use of space

Here's the definition. we can have an argument about semantics if you want, but that's pointless.

Here's the difference between sign and body language:

Sign Language is a recognized and standardized language that involves using signs and signals to communicate with people with special needs. Body Language, on the other hand, depends more on your individual levels of understanding and interpreting hidden meanings behind certain observations in a person's behavior.

Please stop wasting time arguing semantics with me and approach my argument from the context of what I've originally said. Otherwise, we are debating 2 different things, in a space of stuff that Is fundamentally unprovable anyway. It's stupid

I mean... Iraq literally got invaded for less than the shit that Iran has been pulling for the last decade.

Enriching uranium to a dangerous level , spreading proxies all over the region, causing sectarianism to spike wherever they go, bombing their neighbors with ballistic and UAVs to get the political leverage they need, attacking ships in the Persian Gulf, managing to drag down 3-4 Arab countries into a pool of endless corruption...etc etc.

And now they are helping Russia bomb an EU candidate.

Had to take an anti anxiety medication when recovering from multiple concussions (an SSRI). Side effects were:

I couldn’t pee. I’d have to sit on the toilet for 20 minutes..drip. Drip. Drip..

The other effect was I’d leak semen into my underwear all day. Go outside for a couple hours and I’d be “glued” to my underwear with a dried stain the diameter of a coffee mug.

Yes, two reasons:

1- If mistreating self aware robots becomes widely accepted in the culture people could start treating each other in the same manner or think this is normal.

2- If they're human like enough, it causes emotional distress to other people through empathy, even if the AI's sentience itself is iffy.

Took me too long to realize your eczema was not caused by a BITE. I was looking everywhere for the bite on your chin lol

Hope it goes away soon, I get it on my fingers mostly, and some on my knees and elbows, but it only started happening a year ago. Do you have any tips? I have noticed that if I put bandaids on my fingers with the ointments, then my fingers get all soggy/wrinkly (like bandaids normally do) and that soggy wrinkly state is almost immune to any further eczema development.

Guess I just don't agree on how to count fingers, since you absolutely DO have a webbing of skin that counts as a dip after your index finger. The only case that could be made for no dip would be for the months of September and October. You are creating random definitions of dips and knuckles to make your way work, therefore it doesn't actually make sense.

No, none of you can distinguish between the scenarios that I'm talking about.

> Also, there's a difference between a fire alarm going off and a report of an actual fire.

A fire alarm going off can be a serious emergency though. I know that it's less likely to be an actual emergency, but it can be. They should act with urgency until they know that it's not an actual emergency.

I have no fucking clue why you and so many other people here seem to not understand the basic fact.

Until emergency services know that an emergency call isn't an actual emergency, they should act with urgency.

Edit: So apparently, nobody thinks that emergency responders should act with urgency when they receive emergency calls, so I'm not sure why anybody is mad at the story in the OP. They're doing exactly what you all want: not acting with urgency.

You cannot tell if someone is physically impaired just by looking at them. There are plenty of disabilities that impair you physically that aren't visible to the outside eye. I agree with getting scooters parked out of the way so that wheelchairs have access, but I don't think making sweeping judgements about other people's ability status is at all appropriate or even accurate in this case.

I've long considered golf to be the safest sport there is. As long as you abide by the rules, don't act like a jackass and make sure everyone in the area is aware that you are about to swing, it should be pretty much the safest sport around and one you can do into your later years.

And then one day I was working at a country club and an older fella got heat stroke, fell down a slope and broke his ankle. If we hadn't been driving around in a golf cart, doing the hourly rounds, he'd have probably died out there.

So.. yeah. Agree.
