I honestly think that buying calls at this point most likely qualifies as a mental disorder based on the state of the economy. That said; Considering how the market has behaved so far this year I could easily see SPY @ $680 by Mid May.

ELI5: You've got DC+ and DC- coming in, and AC1 and AC2 going out. Hook up + to AC1 and - to AC2, power goes forward, a crest. Now switch the cables quickly, - to AC1 and + to AC2. Now power is going backwards, a trough. Keep doing that 60 times a second and you've become a simple square wave inverter. Replace you with some circuitry and it's automatic. Normally you use more complicated components to generate a sinusoidal wave but the gist is the same, keep switching the DC input forwards and backwards and it creates the AC voltage wave

Fulton Montessori School calculates tuition based on family income but maxes out at $305/week. Their hours for the toddler program are 8:30–5:00 year-round and it looks like you can get early drop-off for an additional fee.

Central Montessori is also full-day and year-round; $1650 per month minus whatever the sibling discount is these days.

If you’re interested in sending your kids to a Montessori school for preschool, I’d recommend getting them into a toddler program now as the local schools tend to fill up.

Datsun cars did the same. Started in the 280ZX and I know it continued in the 300ZX and maybe some Nissans?

The car would talk to you and tell you things like “the left door is open” or when you left the lights on or keys in the ignition.

These days they don’t seem to work, but there’s YouTube videos of people making them work.

Useless but cool piece of technology.

Any refund check you get from the state is going to be considered paid to you, so might as well deposit it. It won't have any major impact on your ability to dispute an adjustment, it'll just be factored into your overall tax situation. If you thought you were due $1200 and they sent you $1000 instead, if you can get that fixed they'll just send the missing $200. You don't have to undo / cancel the "wrong" $1000 check to get the full $1200.

As for why the refund amount changed, that's harder to guess. When did you file? When was your return accepted and refund check sent? Government bureaucracy can sometimes cause communication to lag behind money moving around. I've had explanation letters show up a couple weeks after the check. But if it's been more than a few weeks since you got that lower refund check, that feels like time to start pushing harder on them for answers.

I love both but if I had to pick one for a rewatch it will always be Phantom. Watching it for the first time was a revelation. It picks me up, whirls me around in that messed up world, and spits me out feeling so sad in the tragic finale. Plus you're so right about Beef.. underrated king.

Seeing Phantom in a packed midnight showing would probably make me weep if I'm being honest, something about it.
