I don't think I am minimizing the situation, I think I'm treating the situation as it is. Some kids put a plastic bucket over someone's head. That's it. That's all they did. That's what people are frothing at the mouth about.

I mean seriously, what do you actually think should happen? You think the kids should get charged with assault? Like the other commenters you think they should get beat to a pulp and sent to the hospital?

I think an apology to the woman is all that should happen. They shouldn't have done it, but it was largely a harmless joke. They didn't know that the person had an anxiety disorder and would freak out over it. It was a dumb thing to do, but hey, kids do stupid shit all the time, and this was a pretty minor thing all in all.

I have 0 experience with machine learning but looking to solve a problem I have and wondering if ML might not be the solution. Looking for some guidance on tools and how to get started on the project as quickly as possible. I work in agriculture and some portion of my time is reviewing pesticide labels for certain attributes. I have tried different document parsing platforms but the labels between manufacturers are all slightly different so structure has been hard to nail down. The other issue is I am specifically looking for certain key words in these documents as my company sells products that can be paired with pesticides to make them work better. I am hoping to build a workflow where I could drop a PDF into a folder have software spit out some sort of structure surrounding ingredients and instructions while flagging the keywords. I am decently proficient in no-code platforms if one such exists for my problem. Thanks in advance for any guidance. If this is the wrong subreddit for this I also apologize.

Growth in Roth IRA is completely tax-free assuming you only do qualified withdrawals.

Growth in traditional IRA is tax-deferred until you withdraw or convert. Then it's treated as ordinary income when you withdraw or convert.

Also, since you use Vanguard, did you know Roth conversion is as simple as clicking "Convert to Roth IRA" on the traditional IRA? It'll lead you to a page where you select what things to convert to Roth IRA. You can convert money or shares without needing to sell.
