It's a matter of maintaining the appropriate balance.

The human body works best when there is ~9g of salt/liter (based on normal saline used in medicine) which is necessary for electrical signals and chemical reactions that the body needs to keep functioning.

Seawater, by contrast, contains ~35g of salt/liter, more than tripple the concentration of the human body.

This means that drinking seawater intoduces far too much salt, but drinking water with no salt at all can dilute the salt concentration of the body, as some salt is lost via urine and sweat. Either of these extremes can cause problems.

Great, easy suggestions. I also recommend swapping the plate out which Keychron sells on their site. I believe they all come stock with steel plates, I swapped mine with aluminum and it helped the sound profile sound deeper but also made typing on it more enjoyable for me. Also pretty easy to do!

It's funny because this sub is totally behind this sort of essential infrastructure but when it comes to Con Ed...

https://www.reddit.com/r/nyc/comments/125mdb5/reminder_public_hearings_on_coneds_rate_hikes_are

everybody is just like "fuck Con Ed, I shouldn't have to pay for electricity."

Which is especially funny because a significant portion of that rate hike is going towards clean energy infrastructure. It always amuses me as someone that works in energy that people talk a good game when it comes to clean energy but don't actually want to pay for it. Do people think infrastructure is free? I don't get it.

This is going to be a thorn in the side of employers until they wake up and realize this. It recently dawned on me that the only way I will acquire any wealth is by means outside of a traditional job since those don’t pay worth a shit anymore. No reason to go the extra mile in any job I have in the future. I‘ll be saving my energy for things that will actually make a difference for me.
