Yes and you get the benefit of a quick drying underpainting and then the richness of oils later. :)

Charcoal, impure form of graphiticΒ carbon, obtained as a residue when carbonaceous material is partially burned, or heated with limited access of air. Does that really sound like everything? ...and, scientists do tell.

Oh absolutely! The most I do with clouds (for example) is take pictures of very dynamic skies, then replace them into photos with boring skies, and adjust lighting to match. Here, you're creating the clouds and the atmosphere, and it all comes together beautifully. I'm honestly extremely impressed. I have so many questions, but i'll let you get back to your art.
