New to r/art, what are the two things on the womens chest? Those two round things. I've seen similar ones all over r/art.
Please help me

With a Chile pepper soup that's out of this world I'm thinking.

Yea, it was in a hall leading to the washrooms when I visited. It stuck in my memory, along with Yoko Ono.

The 80s was such a glorious time of combing video entertainment and toy sales. I had tons of them. They all got thrown away when our cat peed on the box in the garage.

I can copy and paste this exact comment and it’d be 100% applicable to my life haha. Literally ditto. I always imagined some mean dude just threw her in the field and walked away.

This is "izbushka na kur'ikh nozhkah", избушка на курьих ножках -- a house with chicken legs. As other posters mentioned -- home of baba-yaga... Definitely not some strange house ;)

The original expression is "jock full", referring to a full cup and jock strap. It was originally used in the late 1890s at baseball games referring to seemingly well-endowed players with enormous cups and jockstraps. Source: just made it up

This is one of my favorite works of art, a great work of constructed realism. It is in possession currently/owned by the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. But Andrew Wyeth isn't highbrow or controversial enough for MOMA so they won't hang this painting for view in the museum - it's in storage. It seems to me that if they won't show the painting, they shouldn't have it.

My favorite painting! It’s stunning person- except that I when I saw it, it was displayed in the hallway leading into the museum cafeteria!

Not my intention, sorry. A photo of a painting always loses something in translation. Actually I can better see the legs now that I enlarged the photo. Apologies for the unsolicited comments.
