I would also disagree with your take, specifically that the friendly ribbing is a toxic joke, when both parties consent to the jokes that is when it stops being toxic, but the instant that someone removes that consent and the jokes continue that's when they become toxic jokes. In your example they would be on a precipice of becoming toxic without actually getting there.

Why you feel your not good enough for her? I mean if you love her show it that you deserve it show some efforts make him special and if you failed at least you tried and you show your presence and efforts rather than pulling yourself down without making any movements. I'm like this too before and I encountered competitor with my crush and I feel like I can't do it since I'm not good and I'm not pretty but I just show my precent and effort that I love her even though there is chance that he will reject me but I didn't give up and now we are almost 3yrs in the making I mean it's not everyday will be our day to get what we want but at least we do our best and that's the important part. Stand up and show to her that you deserve don't down yourself too much and don't overthink just do your best I know you can.

Well, it’s where every other old fart in America wants to retire to. No state income tax, hot af, irrational governor starting Fox fueled culture wars with Disney and gay people — appeals to their conservative values.

It grossed me out. Rising property insurance and taxes. Lousy school districts. Increasingly worse tropical weather. After 30 years it was enough for 3 lifetimes.

My daughters are 5 and 7. Global heating is not going to be a good thing anywhere but Florida is especially susceptible. In a way, I’m giving them a fighting chance living 1000 miles north at 1000’ elevation.
