I believe anxiety is a consequence of not having enough information (by ones own standard)/experience about something.

We can reduce anxiety, but we can't get rid of it entirely. All emotions are useful, even negative ones, there are no bad emotions, just negative and positive ones. We just need to learn how to cope with them.

Woke insanity?

I was in a discord server once for a hobby. Turns out the community was SUPER woke and subscribed to all the... let's just say 'extreme' ideologies.

They were once having a discussion about how they wish everything could just be socialist and I figured it would be okay for me to say:

"I'd say mixed economy is best but if it was literally either capitalist or socialist, I don't think I'd choose socialist"

Oh. My. Goodness. They all had their torches and pitchforks out for me. I was like "Woah I'm saying I think a mixed economy is best I just know that if you'd ask anyone that grew up in a full socialist country they'd tell you it's the living worst"

The amount of PURE hate and aggression I received was completely insane. Everyone 🤡 and 🤢 reacted to all my messages as well, it was funny but damn it was wild 🤣.

I'm from the UK so I can't speak from experience for a pure socialist or pure capitalist perspective cos we're mixed here, but they even berated me for saying mixed is good 😬.

A giant cricket spider got into my apartment while my boyfriend was on a fishing trip and it took me HOURS to kill it.
