Nobody will ask you for anything of importance ever. You have nothing to lose.
Cons? Everything else. Being poor makes everything harder. Even feeling more desperate for a job will chase that opportunity away. Employers can smell desperation and “I need this job so badly!”

Any kind of bigotry, or what is euphemistically called “social conservatism.” That would be what’s known as an “irreconcilable difference.”

When I was in grade school it was a thing for the other kids to doodle on your arms in marker. Just the skin, it didn't ruin clothes or anything. For some reason this absolutely enraged my mom lol. She would scream "why are you letting them deface you?!?!". She was pretty normal otherwise and as an adult I still don't understand what her deal was about marker arms.

My lunch started disappearing once at my current job. I made fancy pb&j sandwiches with a secret ingredient in the middle (it was shit). Never had my lunch stolen anymore after that.

This was the answer I was looking for, couldn’t agree more!
I would also add Sense8.

Meh, everything was like an old 3d movie, where red and green were phased out. Nothing else visually. I did have a "what am I doing with my life" crisis somewhere in there but mostly just pleasantly high.

I'd say that the US is armed and school shootings still happen every few days. And I wouldn't call those polite by any means.

Most people have a vision of what LA is due to movies and T.V shows. Unfortunately, the reality is there's just homeless people and tweakers everywhere, especially in the tourist areas where you want to go to see stuff.

The Good Place - excellent from start to finish
Battlestar Galactica (2004) - only one weak episode in the whole show (I liked the ending)
The Office (UK)
