That I speak Spanish because I am Hispanic.

In college, in the late 90s, I was once criticized for majoring in engineering instead of Chicano studies. By a milk-white blond kid. At UC Berkeley. WTF was I going to do with a Chicano studies degree? It was so far off of my radar I laughed in his face. I wanted a J-O-B when I graduated.

Like being naked on stage in front of millions of people and you're like "wtf is going on right now?!!" Complete mental and sensory overload. You experience trillions of thoughts all at once and none of them make fucking sense. You feel giant invisible anaconda wrapped around your chest just squeezing you to death, knees are weak, arms are heavy...mom's spaghetti.

Well, for one it would have been a Catholic Empire instead of a Protestant Empire. The Inquisition didn't end until the 1800s, and since the US colonies would have been all Catholic then the Inquisition would have continued in North America, and it's possible it may have never ended. The Americas would most likely be primary Catholic as well instead of Prodestant.

If this ended up being the case, it is easy to imagine that at least one more Crusade would have been launched over the past 500 years.

One might question if the US would have seceded from the UK at all if it was founded by Catholics, or if The Holy Roman Catholic Empire would have beaten Napoleon and conquered all of Europe, North America, and South America.

Haha.

You like random variations, eh?

One of my favorites is probably this little Jackie song by Little Jackie – The World Should Revolve Around Me, because if you look at how the song originally started – found here – they pulled off a damn miracle by turning it into what it became. 🤣

For the record the variation that came out on the Denver pride remix CD in the 2000s is hands down the best version of that song. I would have to dig the CD out to figure out who it was that arranged it but it was great.
