That happens sometimes. It's usually because people stop having a conversation with themselves around who they are and what they want to be, and instead began having a conversation with themselves around who they were and all the memories from those times.

Just change the conversation topic and take a little bit of time to re-discover.

I passed a certification exam with the minimum score needed. I studied for months and felt somewhat ready, and on test day I was broadsided, as if I’d never seen anything remotely related to this material. At one point I was just guessing, shaking my head, giving up. I clicked submit and saw the score. I was speechless for 5 minutes, just staring at the screen. Had to have been pure, unadulterated luck.

What is a neckbeard? I have a beard, it grows where it grows, I sometimes have the vanity to groom, oftentimes, I’m just too busy to visit the barbers.

Thing that gets me is the people who pretend to be children by shaving on the regular, it’s weird, you have a beard, who told you not to grow it.

It makes you look less intelligent… to coin a phrase

Deciding to face my depression. I denied it for years and did everything to ignore it. It was a really rough road for a while, but things have gotten so much better since I made some changes in my life. I think the biggest turning point was leaving my home town and dropping contact with everyone there besides my parents.
