does it have white noise options for the sunset feature? sometimes surroundings are pretty loud so I want to have something that I can listen to as I go to sleep :)

Were you trying to replace legit fencing pliers with a multi tool? The fence pliers we had were like 11” and pretty solid. Yeah I an see if your twisting wire the pliers aren’t made for lateral loads.

National changed their name to Presto in 1939! Same company.

Danner has some pretty good ones, but they’re not my personal favorite. They’re great for a lot of people though.

Dude, if you're using electrical wire cutters to chop heavy gauge barbed wire, then no shit it's gonna break.

I'm at about 13 years on mine, with me every day, and still going strong. Unfortunately I had a + that was confiscated at an airport when I forgot I was wearing it. The replaceable wire cutter blades are clutch. The regular Wave is still pretty nice though.

We bought a Natuzzi sectional some 20 years ago and it pretty much looks/sits/naps like new, including two reclining sections. It made it through multiple cross country moves w/ no problems. Not sure if you can get them under 2k now.

I have a Sharper Image clock that wakes you with light and has a couple different white noise sounds -thunderstorm, ocean and crickets. I doubt they sell that model anymore - it’s more than 20 years old.

I’ve got this one and really like it. I’ve had it for 2yrs now and got it used (don’t know how long) no issues yet.

Yeah I’m in the navy and this thing lasted me a year. Definitely not BIFL.

I got a good sense of things like brand standards from doing this. Each album had to be set up an exact way. I’d see my friends with iPods full of “Track 07s,” then feel immense satisfaction when my library looked like I bought it all from iTunes

To contrast this, I have owned three iPhone Sixes and each of them lasted about a month.

My iPod with FireWire is still working after twenty years. I am syncing it with a iBook G3 which only needed a new battery a few years ago.

Reply to Dedicated this Christmas for all the Darn Tough Socks I'll ever need. by N64SmashBros
I've had 1-2 pairs of DT socks prior. Was very lucky to get 4 more this Christmas. Best socks ever, I have some lifestyle weight and some hiking/boots weight as well. They take the abuse, the warranty process is seamless. Well worth their price!
