Got two more for Christmas also, now have 8 total. Love the fit and moisture control but HATE how messed up they get when washed/dried.
Instructions say to dry them on low heat, but they come out looking horrible, with dozens of little lint pieces stuck tightly into the fabric.
Anyone know a way around this? Ruined one of my new pairs just yesterday in the dryer :(

Can confirm - worn the belts in construction, kitchens and just about everywhere else. Absolutely love them 🔥

So looking into Danner after reading this comment, only about 1/3 of their inventory is made in the USA. Now, they are super forward and say which products are made in the USA (typically these products will have a US flag stitched onto it).
I‘ve heard great things about Danner, but just wanted to comment this for anyone else reading.
They are having a decent sale right now and I am actually looking at buying a pair that are imported since the price is really good, as are the reviews and it might be worth the gamble.

Wow! I was wondering when they will start breaking down. My oldest pairs are 5 years old and have been worn and laundered once a week. I found a weak point by the emblem when I pull them up otc however the foot top and bed have yet to show signs of degradation.

Fjallraven and Helly Hansen are good suggestions. I'd add Didriksons which is a lesser known Swedish brand but quite good.

Helly Hanson has a particular sailing style that puts some people off. I’ve had two HH parkas and they are amazing. They are pretty moderately priced. Worth looking at sales!

I just bought the Kinco 901’s (pigskin) from Amazon a week or so ago and used them last week to shovel snow when it was -10 degrees Fahrenheit out. Hands stayed warm throughout and like them so far. They are a bit stiff but should break in over time.
Definitely run big (I usually wear L for gloves…ordered both L and M and L was too big/long in the fingers so kept the M and sent L back). They come with a pack of Nikwax to water proof but also picked up some Sno Seal. Tried them both and preferred the Sno Seal. All in (gloves + Sno Seal) was around $50.

That will likely break down over a short period of time. I finally wrote them off as a 100% designer fashion company now.
Delamination, poor fills, shit cust service etc. etc. etc.

I have a pair of really cute Keen boots that I've had for about four years. I use them as winter boots and rain boots. Waterproof and really comfortable.

Also, buy everything you can from Costco They will actually honor the manufacturer warranty, even when the manufacturer tries to snake their way out of replacing your item.

I can attest to their belts. Wearing 1 right now, and took 2 of them traveling with me around the world for a year. Lightweight, rugged, stylish! (And as a vegetarian, high quality non-leather, which can be surprisingly difficult to find!)
