None of those are winter boots. Iron rangers in particular.

Several office chairs at my workplace that are used nearly 24/7/365. Sprayed with Lysol/other cleaning chemicals multiple times a day. They look like they came from a nuclear waste dump, but they're still comfy chairs. If you work someplace where frivolities like the appearance of something you fart into all day matter, than your mileage may vary

One Oxo thing I haven't been a fan of is the Oxo peeler. Just my opinion, but I'm not a fan of them and find others are much sharper. Would recommend a serrated peeler.

KA stand mixer with the bowl lift is great - Costco sells it for a decent price. Most importantly though, unless someone is a regular baker, a stand mixer isn't worthwhile and becomes an expensive BIFL decoration that takes up a lot of space.

You’d probably be good then. Expensive bag though.

I have a Patagonia Tres Parka. 3 in 1. For 85-90% of winter in Montreal it's perfect either as the parka(liner and shell) or just the down puffer liner alone. It's sharp classic looking, practical outside side zip breast pocket for wallet and two large pockets for gloves etc . Patagonia's service is awesome. I've had mine over 6 years without any issues.

I use Weimar Leather Conditioning wipes every couple of weeks and haven’t seen the classic wear and tear.

I agree, I never tried these socks but 5 years ago I splurged and bought 14 pair of darn-tough socks. I haven’t had to buy any socks since. I did have to send some back for the warranty but that was super easy.

A couple years ago I bought an Alpha Industries N3B Parka. Living in a place where below-freezing temperatures are the norm for the majority of the year, it's one of the best investments I've made. Two years later, the jacket is still chugging along with no visible signs of wear.

I am wearing my several year old Ibex wool leggings right now. But I’m not sure you’re going to find something with several years of wear in it for under $100.
