The tree looks great. Amazing what happens when you take care of things properly. And Congratulations to your parents on 40 years!

Good to hear my dude. Hopefully it holds up! Mine has been thru hell but not necessarily loaded with 100lb constantly. Good luck with your training.

Yes I am aware. Also (now) aware this clearly wasn't the right sub. I just never would've expected it to last that long.

Awesome thank you! It’s good to see someone mentioning 5.11 you were the first one to do so. There is a 5.11 store near where I live and I am pretty impatient when it Comes to waiting on things so I went and got the rush72 2.0 this morning, loaded it up and used it for a workout and I gotta say so far so good! No creaks or snaps so far from this bag. Thanks again!

Not sure as I threw it out a few years ago but it was from Walmart. The one I'm currently on was $80 from office Depot I think. Had it for a few years and is holding up pretty well. It is squeaky but I could probably fix that with wd-40

I have looked a lot at secondhand shops, but never find my size.
I work in a pretty casual environment but still love dressing up. I also have to go to court occasionally so I like having some staple pieces to mix and match on hand

Pendleton, Lafayette 158. You may want to look at thrift and consignment shops though - workplaces have gotten more casual and I’ve found great stuff 2nd hand

Ah, yes, the 99% of meat that is "harvested" in factory farms, which are famous for their ethics. Definitely no cruelty, barbarism, or horrific animal torture going on there. I'm going to put twice as much cow on my grill now just because you brought it up.

Reply to Buy it for Life Shirts for tall skinny guys by cairispy
Find a strip mall tailor (i.e. you are looking for cheap - usually around $10-20 per shirt) with good reviews and get any shirt you like.
I'm not skinny but i am tall. However, everything big and tall (i.e. 3x-4x) just looks way too wide on me. So I buy the 4x and take it to them, they pin me up and within a week i have a perfect set of shirts. Yeah it ends up costing a bit more but the outcome is much more comfortable and just looks cleaner.

My mom does use hers daily so maybe I'll see what she thinks. She bought me the same one she has so she can use it when she visits lol. It seems like she gets a new one every like 5 years, but I'm not sure if thats because the old ones broke or she just found a better one and wanted to upgrade.

I thought about it but I found a commenter somewhere saying it was just longer, not wider. I know it was only one person but it's an expensive theory. The socks also have different styles but again, is expensive to try

You got a pair of Crown Northampton for £60!? I’m very impressed. I would get in touch with Crown. They will be more than happy to help you look after your shoes.

I have some 2 pairs of smartwool 260 leggings that I've been rotating almost every day for the past 6 years [winter november - march]. Still in excellent condition aside from a few small holes.

Don’t get apple wood – a friend of mine painstakingly built his dream table from apple wood. On the very first day of using it he jotted down a phone number. It pressed through the paper into the wood. You can read it – in the wood.
