I'd say this one is more of an all purpose type of towel. Can put it in a day bag or even in my pocket and just forget it's there.

They actually make a much larger one that I personally wouldn't have had any use for.

Same with an old hoodie of mine im wearing at this moment. My mother got it for me in 5th grade, high school, a deployment and college. Its frayed at the wrists and hood and the lettering is coming loose but the main body of it has no issues.

Are the ones at costco the wool ones (that cost hundreds) or are they fleece (that are like $50)?

Exactly. Which is why when I get tired of standing go do something else for awhile (great to remind yourself to take breaks) or I lie down for a bit. For me if the option is there to sit, I end up sitting down and not realizing how long I've been sitting. Standing also guarantees you keep moving around, you can't stand without moving around for very long, unlike sitting where you can easily not move at all.

We got a really nice artificial tree this year from a friend, and we plan to have it for decades.

Side note, putting your tree on a pedestal is fucking brilliant

The "buy it for life" might even be the detergent or washing machine you use. Nice color preservation.
