Umm, yes. Plus don’t have too much driving to do. Why do you ask?

You can buy an e card from Pendleton online and use that on the blanket. Online gives you the most options.

Is this pushing the top range of your budget? Any way to get lower mileage?

I got an excellent wool LL Bean blazer on Poshmark for a steal. It’s old school classic, camel colored, and size 18.

Sur la table will sharpen for you too in case you are too nervous to use a stone yourself. Although a good skill to have
Agreed on the victorinix. Both knives will last a lifetime if maintained properly

Go to a Pendleton outlet. Don't know where you're located, but there are definitely brick and mortar stores where you can check out the blankets in person.

They’re saying often they aren’t the “blemished” or slightly-not-perfect ones made for retail, they’re made specifically for the outlet. I.e., not made to last with subpar materials even though the brand might be known for its excellent quality.

You posted a consumer electronic that lasted an average amount of time ( at best), of course im going to call it out. 30 years sure I guess, but a decade? I guess I can post all sorts of average built products then too eh?

We actually just received one from Costco as an xmas present yesterday. Pretty decent feel to it, it's 100% polyester and made in china, and I assume just the design is the licensed thing from Pendleton. I don't mind it but it ain't the real thing by any stretch.

Which could be superficial or cosmetic and still offer a great , while blemished, wool blanket. For a discount.
Edit: outlet is not what I thought

Kuhn Rikon peelers are where it's at. Ambidextrous. I'm speaking from 20 years of professional kitchen experience, and I'm a lefty. Edit: not BIFL, you can't sharpen them, but they're ~$3.

FYI - it is almost certainly shedding lead contaminated dust. Near every artificial tree is a toxic waste hazard. The only exception are trees made of polyethylene. The reason manufacturers don't use polyethylene is it's approximately twice as expensive and harder to work with. Purchasing a non-toxic tree for our household cost us $1300 last year. We tried using natural trees for two years in a row after finding out our old artificial tree was heavily lead contaminated, but the natural tree experience did not go well. The Only source of polyethylene trees of an affordable nature is IKEA they are like Charlie brown skinny trees though..

Vermont has a physical Pendleton store. We used to have one and it was not “outlet quality” in our experience

No wood is going to stand up to heat like that without putting something down.

I have a glass topped wood table but I put a heat pad down before setting any hot dishes on it.

Congratulations to them. We've had our tree for over 20 years now. We got it in a post Christmas sale for £10 at a DIY store. It's going to be with us forever.

I was in Pendleton yesterday. I thought about stopping and getting a blanket. But didn't because I can't stop driving once I start. You should fly to Boise, rent a car and drive the 4 hours to Pendleton, buy the blanket then drive back to Boise and fly back to the east coast. Only then will you feel truly attached to your blanket. But who am I to talk?

A lot depends on the fit you're looking for here but there are definitely a lot of options. More on our site (all MIUSA brands) that we've been curating, but some of what I (6'0, 145lb) think are worth looking at:
https://leftfieldnyc.com/ - looser/boxy fit
Velva Sheen - tighter fit/shorter sleeves (sold at a lot of online shops, check Canoe Club for just all around good stuff.
https://bravestarselvage.com/ - about right fit
https://ladywhiteco.com/ - leans tighter
https://harvestandmill.com - expected fit, casual basics
https://standardissuetees.com - haven't tried one, but looks promising
You could also go the semi-tailored route with Todd Shelton. It's quality stuff with top-notch customer service. You can customize the fit for each piece through some easy to use cues. Definitely worth a look if you're struggling to find things that fit just right. Years ago I had them match an out of production pair of APC jeans that fit great and they helped me through it all.

Yes, but nana always had really good sheets and usually a light cotton blanket in between. So you only noticed it if you left your arms out or something.
