This is good to know. I was wondering why they were so inexpensive at Target, I think I’ll pass now!

Machine aside, do you have access to purchase ice blocks to fit whatever you buy? Cubes from your freezer aren’t going to work that well

That's been our experience with Dyson. Expensive. Not high quality. Lots of plastic.

Uggs since 1974 is the original uggs. They ship from Australia and supposedly last for a long time.

Miele if you want a canister and are happy to drop big bucks on one. Otherwise, Shark all day.

Was a Miele fan for years and then tried some Dyson vacuums. ( v7 V9 V11, and the ball shaped one ) Now back to Miele. Irony of them being BIFL is I’ve never had same one for more than few years. But Miele seem to have the best build quality and don’t cheap out on parts. Dyson wasn’t cheap either but VERY cheap build imo

Not bamboo. It is only strong on paper. In practice it splinters badly. It is often not as sustainable as people like to claim either.

Dillard has them I think. A store called domestic domestic sells them. Western stores too sometimes.

Bad climbing gear could very much be 'BIFL' in a very literal sense - and something you own briefly.

A regular hair cutting trimmer. That will get most of it. After that, just use shaving cream and a razor to go bare. Source - I let my beard grow out for months before I shave and that's the process I've done since I was a kid.

I work with a person in her 20s (east coast US) and she calls a hooded sweatshirt or any sweatshirt a sweater. I’m honestly thinking young people just call things whatever because they haven’t necessarily been taught.
