Ahhhhh! I have a hand towel in our kids’ bathroom with this same design, saved from when I was a kid! 💜

Yes indeed I have those inserts. The winter boots are fine all winter in Ottawa for commuting, going to a restaurant or walking around an outdoor market. I would wear something more substantial if I was going to be standing around outside for hours though.

Faribault is machine washable, which is how I justified the price premium over Pendleton...

So it seems. I might have to try looking into some lace up boots with a removable insole.
Do you have those woolen insoles in your Blundstones for the winter?

The 1970s' combination of avocado, harvest gold, coppertone & orange was an abomination. Their were actually shag rugs that incorporated all 4 of those colors.

I had the one on the left. Donated it to a friend recently.

My wife looked it up, mine is a "small bifold wallet" that they seem to no longer carry. It appears to be similar to the medium one linked here. Mine doesn't have the ID window (which is how I prefer it tbh) and no separate card pockets. It just opens up to two horizontal pockets where I put credit cards, my ID, membership cards, etc. and the big pocket in the back for bills.

I still have mine from the 80’s!!! It’s a bit more ragged as it’s been used continuously but so soft and indestructible apparently.

For something like this, I would ask him about it first, or at least make sure the knife can be returned or exchanged. Or take him with you to the store so he can try out the feel of it. Possibly the most important element of a knife is the handle. It doesn't matter how good the steel is or how sharp it is if the knife just isn't comfortable to hold in your hand and you don't want to just it as a result.

I feel your pain, sister. I wear a US 6.5, UK 4 and there is very little available. I find the biggest problem is consistency. Redwing used to have more heritage boots, but now I don't see a basic moc toe on their site, just fashion boots, i.e. high heel. Ditto Chippewa, I bought a neat pair of short top engineer boots off Sierra trading post but they appear to have gotten out of the heritage boot game altogether. Head on over to the Goodyear welt subreddit and I think there is a women's manufacturer spreadsheet pinned. Good luck!

From what I can tell, Etsy imports wallets from China, laser etches a couple initials or their logo on it and call it hand made

Have you tried buying the doc marten insoles? They also make kids sizes that will definitely fit you.
