Ime, the 3 way is sort of a waste of space and weight to put away the pack straps and have another strap. I had them in the past but backpacks are so common in my business it’s not needed

If I lived in Kitchener, yes I would buy winter Blundstones and not worry about it at all. If it were especially especially cold, I'd wear some thicker wool socks that day.

I thift a lot but I draw the line at shoes, bathing suits, and under garments. I'm just weird about other peoples sweat. 😂😂
I think I would have made the exceptions in the shoes that you have bought. Nice haul!

Those would be the use cases that I would wear Chelsea-style boots for. I rarely spend more than an hour outside during the winter.
I live down south in Kitchener-Waterloo which might be just a few digits warmer than Ottawa.

Have a Marimekko couch cushion, 12 years old and counting. Only minor fraying on the corners, pillow itself and case are still A-OK. Squash the hell out of it daily.

Looking around, mine looks the most like the large bifold wallet except that it’s only half the size vertically (large has 4 pockets, mine has only 2). But that would give you a better mental image for what mine looks like. I really like it tbh so I’m sad to see they discontinued it.

That's a great reminder for everyone on this forum who likes to buy vintage and go thrifting. They are not definitely painted with lead (especially the one from the 1980s), but they might be painted with lead. You can get lead test kits pretty cheaply from most hardware stores and you can check to see if your crocks have leachable lead.
This is a measure you should take with any vintage glazed dishes you inherit or buy second hand (particularly those from before 1971 when this began to be regulated), any glazed dishes that you buy through a venue that does not have a robust risk management program to keep them from being sued (that is, someplace like Target), or anything handmade if there is any chance they might be using older glazes.

It's about 3 pounds lighter than the frontier, so presumably not as warm? I can say it's not warm enough on its own on a very cold night. We have to add a waffle knit blanket for extra warmth... (This is in DC, too, so nowhere near as cold as you deal with!)

Oh nice! How do you like that one? Think it’s as warm as the frontier? Looks like this one compare with the Ecowise from Pendleton, which is also machine washable.
