Reply to Request: BIFL Family Tent by FromOroWithLove
My rule of thumb has always be that a 4 person tent is really only good for 2 people with gear. That said I’ve had the Cabela's Alaskan Guide Model Geodesic 8-Person Tent for years and it’s held up well. I also live in Ontario and use it primarily the same way you’re describing spring to fall. I have used it in the winter before and it’s also been fine. Very stable in the wind. It’s no canvas tent but it’s lighter and set up is pretty straight forward.

Reply to looking for a new wallet by Seanmmvi
The Mitchell leather wallet I have is around 5 years old and shows no signs of wearing out. Developing a lovely patina from card thicknesses and also toddler bite marks. I anticipate this being the last wallet I own.

I was looking into things like that. I think I would possibly like to place one of those in a soap dish with the soap on top. Would this mean I don’t need drainage in the actual dish? I could just use any old ceramic dish base?

Thanks; I posted on mobile so I was having issues selecting the “request” flair, but I thought it was more fittiny. Thanks for the change, kind bot.

If the latch breaks you could also just put a pip pin in the hole, just complicates handling a tad.

I have two WWII army surplus wool blankets. A lightweight one from the Army, and a heavier one from the Navy.
Cheap, mil-spec quality, and warm. Not fashionable showpieces though.

Sub forces a flair on posts and vintage is the only applicable option. Would be great if there was like some more general option.

I have been using one for several years. My only issue is that my husband drapes wet garments over the edge, which caused rust in the frame that seeped through the canvas. It is very well made, though.

If we made a bingo card for this sub then posts about Crock-Pots from the 70’s accompanied by comments about lead paint would be the free space.

I think hand stitched with heavy cord would work better with canvas. You don't need small stitching for clothing bags.
