I have so many backpacks, I should just send you one. Reusing is better than buying

GoRuck Echo. It has a dedicated "bombproof" laptop compartment, some organization, and is just big enough to be functional for a daily bag.
I use a GR1 daily, but the Echo is great for times not as much stuff needs to come with.

Kathmandu have high quality gear. Have used a backpack from them to carry a laptop, electronics and clothing for the past 5 years. Still looks brand new with no wear whatsoever. https://www.kathmandu.com.au/gear/packs-and-bags/backpacks/gluon-beyond-18l-pack.html

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTkUNwBo9Ao That is a good performance test. As for how long they last, that's an open question.

I always thought BIFL was about things people had had for a long, long time that was proven to last. Not, "Hey I found something I like."

Yeah sorry OP but they are trash. The material is what lets pretty much all gaming chairs down. I don't believe those who say they are uncomfortable or will hurt you, that is total bs and I am someone with a gaming chair and a Herman Miller Embody. But the the arms will develop cracks and break apart and the fabric will peel and flake away.
For the money they are NOT worth it. Especially when you realise you can get identical chairs for like $150 on Amazon or AliExpress. You think well its this brand, pricy but respected, they will use better longer lasting materials... They don't.

It's good to have a bucket racing seat as a desk chair so that you don't slide off the seat when you whip your home office around a tight turn.

I just got this. And. I am linking it so far. I was not able to decide between corded shark and this, but at the end decided to go with LG because of convenience.

Just got the LG Cordzero A9 Kompressor from Costco. It comes with a spare battery and filter. I’m very pleased with the performance so far. It also comes with a stand, so unlike the Dyson you do not have to wall mount the charger.

I would see the costs to repair, I think that's worth investigating..esp given it's 2 years old only and the lithium battery is still new.
I'll be honest, not a fan of dirt devil if you decide to get another. It's like the Black & Decker for power tools. In all reviews and Consumer Reports, it's never in the top ten or even 15. LG, Hoover, Dyson, Shark, Samsung, Bissell, etc are the ones who excel at and invest in improving.

For that price, could've gotten a used Steelcase Leap V2 that would last a lot longer than the Secretlabs, especially if you got the leather type and not the fabric

I have ten or twelve pair of Timberland socks that I bought several years ago. The elastic hasn't gone slack and they're still hole-free.
