I don't like them due to lack of support, but I work in a 24/7 control center where we all have our own chairs. A few people have these and the only one that's all broken down is about 10 years old. It is common for us to have 20 hr days and 80+ hr weeks.
This is what I'm sitting in. https://www.ironhorseseating.com/IH-4100.ADCGDA.3BL1

Winix. I bought 3 when I was redoing our hall and it caught a lot of the dust from sanding. Well worth the money.

It can be a mix of outlet quality stock and main line stock. You have to know or research your brand and the item before you buy.

We have a leather restoration hardware (not cheap) sofa that has been abused by three dogs, a cat, four kids and it looks like brand new. 10 years old.

I have a few bissel filters and they have done well for me. I have the big stand up one in the living area of my house and then smaller cylinder shaped ones in bedrooms. Our house is from the 40s and isn't very air tight so we run then mostly for allergies. The sound isn't too noticeable for us but we've had them for a few years so that just what home sounds like to us now.
We put one in our bedroom and you could feel the difference in there compared to other rooms so we got more filters for the rest of the house. It's hard to describe the feeling but we turned the filter on and then went about our day and a few hours later went into the bedroom and the air just felt cleaner. My allergies were also significantly better after just one day.

I was thinking about purchasing this Patagonia Spirited Seasons Uprisal Full-Zip Hoody. I do not know much about it, but Patagonia is a great brand, and its price is $99 (Exactly your budget).

From 20c to 25c took around 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours I think. I haven't had to use it since its been warm ever since the -20c weather a while ago. My windows had seal issues which I've fixed since then so it would probably take a bit less now. Either way these heaters take a while to get warm compared to other types of heaters but they also take a while to cool off if the power goes out.

I have a Carhartt denim-like (brown) jacket that I got off eBay. I can honestly see it surviving the rest of my life.
