I'd been using the same speed queen dryer and washer in an apartment I just moved out of. I'd lived there for 20 YEARS. The house I just moved into had speed queen washer and dryers. The third day the dryer broke and I fixed it my self with YouTube. I will never buy another brand of washer/dryer.

I don't mind li-ion batteries. Like, 10440 cells are same size as AAA but last waaay longer (4.2V vs 1.5V - you can store more energy at higher voltage...) and are easily rechargeable and don't leak, stay charged longer etc...

I just hate when it's a non-replaceable format which is common nowadays.

Mine had holes by the third wear, same thing happened to a friend who had them. They’re super expensive and seem to be hit or miss. For some people they last years and for others one wear. Super disappointing and of course they won’t exchange them because they claim I must have done something wrong. I’m not sure what because their ads show them being pulled on with pliers.

TI makes great calculators, but I was recently given a new 84-Plus CE and I am definitely not a fan. I absolutely cannot stand the change from AAA batteries to only having a charging cord, and the slimmer design seems like it makes it more annoying to slide the cover on. I also don't like that they reversed the orientation of the cover, so now you have to slide it on from the top as opposed to bottom. Also, maybe it's because of the slimmer design, but the buttons feel very squishy to me. The buttons on my old 84-Plus feel like there's more weight behind the press, while the buttons on the new one feel like one of those cheaper scientific ones where it might miss a button press every once in awhile if you didn't press it really deliberately and with enough force.

So personally, I'm sticking with my old 84-Plus for now, but that's just me.

Lololol youre the one that posted an essay because you are so upset as t the state of the sub! Yet Im emotionally damaged and always online

If you have 400 up votes its because there are 400 other people too lazy to click through to the sub and see the actual front page

If you only see what hits the feed the sentiment is understandable but still not at all an accurate reflection of the sub

I like replying to these posts because its a chance to poke fun at laziness and stupidity. Something I always love to do

Ill keep on pestering you all day if it's going to be this entertaining.
