Reply to comment by CutterNorth in Was in the market for a new belt so I went with the grip6 I’ve seen suggested on here. A friend at work also recommended groovelife because of their 94 year “no BS” warranty. Supposedly covers lost or damaged belts for 94 years so I figured it fits as well assuming it really is a “No BS” Warranty by chocolate_spaghetti
I’m 1.5 years into my GL belt and haven’t had issues. I have to adjust between different pants (jeans vs lighter weight shorts) that I wear sometimes but it’s always been consistent.

Yeah I was thinking about getting hanks as well. Need a brown one and it doesn’t look quite as good on nylon. Heard nothing but good things about hanks.

That’s unfortunate because I really like the belt. The buckle design is really nice and the strap feels nice and sturdy. I like that it doesn’t warp on the back loops but I could see the elastic band being a problem over time. Have you taken advantage of the warranty yet? And if so how was the process?

Take advantage of that Groove Life warranty while it lasts. Their belts don't. Mine is 1 year old and I have to tighten it every other time I wear it.

I needed a new belt because mine would fall apart in just a few months. My gf recommended a get a good quality belt so I don't have to keep replacing them. I went with Hanks belts. And they make nice belts. I daily wear one of their canyon belts. Also has a 100 year warranty.

The majority of my running clothing is 10 year old Brooks. Everything looks brand new with the exception of black shorts that experienced some fading.

I came here to say Pearl Izumi as well. I had a pair of fleece lined leggings that I bought at one of their outlet stores for a steal. They lasted about 15 years and I used them for so many activities: cycling, running, Nordic skiing.

I agree. They're always the ones I reach for - I should just get rid of my other tights and order all Snag. I think the fact that they actually fit me properly really helps reduce wear and tear. I've had mine for a couple years and they're going strong.

Snag are terrific and pretty inexpensive. I buy the tights and I do tend to wear v. high denier, but 8 pairs have lasted me around 18months on constant rotation without wear, laddering or bobbling.

Ohh, never knew they existed.
I always have two pairs on the go, always with socks.
Have one clean pair and one dirty pair at all times. Use them for diy, gardening, on the beach, etc.
Dump them in washing machine once in a while.
They honestly just seem to last forever, are comfortable, dry quick and generally stable, gripping and have that strap at the back.

These are the best damn washers and dryers you can get, my grandmother has had this set for 40 years and the only problem she ever had was that recently the dryers start button fell off
