You want a bridle leather belt. Full stop.

Carmine Jack has an excellent custom belt box. He sends you leather and metal color samples with a measuring tape.

You pick the color combo and sizing, then he makes the belt and sends it to you. ~$160 and it’s the nicest, most durable belt I’ve ever seen.

Check them out

I have 5 of them. You can be lucky or unlucky in how well the buckles grip. Apart from that, no complaint.

On balance I prefer the Arc'teryx Conveyor Belt (of which I have 3). If only the latter were available in a wider variety of colours.

The design may be the same. The build quality is just a bit lower as a rule. Japanese Zojirushi appliances routinely last for decades. You can pass them down to your kids. The non-Japanese made items are still good, they’re just not made to last forever the way the older Japanese ones are.

Man just go to a fabric store, buy some webbing (that's what the fabric is called), 2 D-rings (that's what the metal is called) and a needle and thread and you could make that for like $10. Hell I could whip that up in five minutes with my sewing machine.

Gas? Electric? Wall or stove combo? With cooktop or just oven?

And most importantly are you doing a remodel and if not, what width? I ask this because most of your real BIFL ovens will not be in the US 30" standard format.

imho you don't want commercial as that might require special permits and possibly some extra hardware (hoods, halon). The easy first filter is "pro-quality" not commercial.
