I did have 1 of my 4 belt clasps malfunction over the past 10 years. They sent a replacement for free in 4 days. My front pocket wallet is my favorite wallet I ever got from them. If quality has truly diminished I would assume their warranty would go with it.

I'm in the market myself and I'm seriously considering the Beckett Siminon Gaston bag, unfortunately I missed their 30% off Christmas sale so going to wait for a sale to come around again. I cant speak for their long term durability as I haven't owned one yet but I do have some of their shoes and the leather and fit and finish of their shoes is amazing. Also primarily a shoe company not a bag company so options are limited.
They are a made to order company though to keep inventory costs down and pass savings to the customer so you may have to wait for whatever you buy from them.

I had a Dakine for roughly 14 years before I handed it down to my niece. She still has it three years later.

Just avoid Victoria’s Secret lace undies. They suckkkkk. Even in garment bags. I swear they last like 1 wash before the lace starts to separate and turn into gaping holes. Thanks for posting this! I’ve been looking for good quality undies and it looks like Jockey is the way to go!

I am looking forward to purchasing a belt and wallet from them. However, I have heard that quality has declined significantly. Do you know anything about this?

I've found most recent KitchenAid products to be cheaply built and not at all durable.

Ok so it’s not the most established brand and I’ve only had my watch for about a year, but I have a Vaer field watch (nice basic but sturdy watch, pretty low profile) that I really really like. Pretty affordable and from what I can tell it’s bulletproof. I wear it daily, including skiing, climbing, camping, fishing etc. Hit it against stuff, drop it, it’s submerged often (not the biggest fear for a watch I know), and it looks like new still. Would recommend checking them out.

I've had a Waring MX1050XT for 15 years and estimated over 1500 smoothies. Had to replace the pitcher 10 years in but otherwise it is still going strong. Blends strong enough to crush raspberry seeds in smoothies. I like it more than Vitamix blenders I've used (smoothies end up with a better texture), although the smooth speed control on the vitamix is nice in some situations.

Check out some local businesses that make use of blenders and ask what they're using. They might be commercial grade blenders that are too expensive but maybe you'll get some good suggestions.

Buy a used osprey backpack. If it ever rips or fails they repair or send you a new one for free.

Shipping has gotten SO expensive. For that weight (and size once packing is added) it could easily be $150-200.

Kitchen aid pro line should be same price as vitamix. It’s built like a tank and has a 10 yr warranty, same as vitamix

The steel band has broken twice at the place where it connects with the watch (as opposed to the clasp). Mine has a timer function, and after a few weeks of replacing the battery the hands don’t line up when I reset it. It’s still intact and reasonably durable; had it sent to Switzerland to replace all of the inner parts yet the same problem persists. More recently the covering over one of the buttons came off.

Invicta makes an automatic watch for $89 that is modeled after Rolex Submariner I believe. I’ve had mine for years. Great everyday watch and can be used as a beater.

I’m curious as to what issues you’re having with yours? I got one less than a year ago and this is the first I’m hearing of recurring issues

The warranty will apply to underwear but it’s frowned upon by the staff. And honestly, if you try and return a pair of underwear after 10yrs of use because of a hole or lack of elasticity, then maybe your expectations are too high or you’re taking advantage of the warranty in place.

Good point. I use garment bags for bras, but I should be using them for undies too. So many recs for Jockey, so that tells me something.
