Search this sub there was somebody here that did an insane amount of extensive testing on Stanley thermos’ of every iteration. They found that the new black Stanley’s were still excellent iirc but quality on the green ones has decreased.

My dad’s laundry is in the yellow one right now. Constant use since the early 70s and holding up perfectly.

I don’t know if you wanted a context, since I realized you weren’t actually referring to it, but…

It’s a generic titanium camping spoon from Amazon. They sell them for the freeze-dried food pouches you use while backpacking but they also come in very handy for this type of container .

How cool it would be if we could see our "Loads Wrapped" like Spotify Wrapped but for our loads.

They're not that tough. If they were, I'd still be on my first one.

I've been traveling internationally on a perpetual basis for over 8 years now. My packing cubes see continuous use and a bit of abuse. I've been through 3 brands so far. The first were some no-name, no-features, garbage I picked up on Amazon. They died a quick death.
Next, I tried some from Eagle Creek. They were such an improvement. I'm convinced that they would still be around if I traveled as often as the average person, rather than full-time. But, ultimately I did end up damaging the zippers and/or wearing through the fabric in small spots that became much larger.
I'm now using some from Peak Design, and they are exceptionally tough. They also have a, in my opinion, better compression ratio. In addition, they have a separate section in them that allows me to keep dirty clothes away from clean. They are more expensive, and I'm not sure the average traveler needs such high-end compression cubes. But, they do appear to fit well within the category of buy-it-for-life.

I haven’t personally used them but I bet Briggs and Riley are. All of their products are very well made and come with a lifetime warranty

I’ll second Eagle Creek. I’ve been using them for several years and they’re holding up well so far. I have a couple that I use regularly, and they’re in as good condition as the rest that I use infrequently.

Admittedly I've only had mine for a couple years, but I've been very pleased with my Bertucci field watch. About 65 bucks for the plastic case version (or you can get titanium for more $). I have other watches but this is the only one I want to wear anymore. Based on its performance through daily wear at work in all weather conditions (I do grounds and building maintenance) and hiking, camping, motorcycling, etc., I expect this watch to last a good long while. I prefer a simple analog timepiece without any bells and whistles and Bertucci suits me quite well.

i love the hair bands and scrunchies from gimme beauty. you can buy them at ulta, and there are multiple sizes based on thickness. i’ve never had lines or creases when using them, and they really hold my thick hair without causing any kind of damage or tugging on my scalp. i’ve had them for over two years now and none of them have snapped.
