There’s nothing wrong with it, but there is nothing particularly right with it either. Aluminum is a bit of a flag for me because it does corrode where stainless doesn’t.

West coast shaving has a kit with a handle, a head, and three different combs (piece between the handle and the head) with different angles/“aggressiveness.” You can pick the handle you like, then try the different combs until you land on one that works, then the other two will likely live in a drawer forever.

People recommend the Merkur 34c, there is honestly nothing special about that razor. It’s a stand-in for “a razor that isn’t aliexpress trash.”

Oh awesome I never saw this guide! Hmm, without printing and going by my rough measurements, I come up as narrow on here, but that doesn't sound right. I'll print the guide off and try, thanks for this!

Here's one from the guy I bought my wallet from. I believe it's a one-man operation out of Hong Kong. I'm pretty sure I discovered him on Etsy (or a similar site) and the minimalist style and quality materials was just what I was looking for.

Mine is just a simple billfold, and at nearly 3 years old, I can't imagine it ever failing. However, I don't know about the keyring holding up forever! Perhaps as long as you don't snag it too often.

That's unfortunately an 11 hour drive to pop to Northampton 😅

I'm very rarely out of the county, and even more rare I'm that far north, but it would be fantastic if I'm ever in the area. I had no idea about their reputation, that sounds great!

The Fjällräven Travel Pack is straightforward, simple, unassuming, and well thought out. My wife and I each have one and we use them every time we fly.

It doesn’t have a waist strap or an exterior water bottle holder but I think it checks the most important boxes rather well. The laptop set up is very nice and secure.

My post yesterday on merino generated a lot of interest and discussion, so clearly it’s you who are in the wrong. Users want long-life merino and are willing to pay the price.

A search of “merino” on the subreddit reveals regular and popular discussions on the topic; it clearly shows that quality of clothing is within the Overton window of discussion.

Go play policeman on those posts:

Don't move the goalposts as a wool shirt does not last longer than a long staple cotton one. You posted in the wrong sub...its OK, go to the right one and ask, I even gave you the right sub. Or google for yourself. You are asking a question about where to buy/find as you already have your answer. I gave you two options....go forth and find them.
