Lowa GTX waterproof (Goretex) hiking boots. Danner (the ones made in USA, not imported) are still great. Had a pair of Danners for 30 years until they were too far gone to rebuild. The company will completely refurbish even the most worn out ones but they're not cheap. Neither of these options are under $250 USD.

Most of the metal beds you can find online also have weight limits included in at least one of the pictures!

I have zinus metal bedframe that I bought on Amazon for 130 Canadian 2 years ago. I love it, easy to assemble and you don't need box springs. It was squeaking and I bought a 3 in 1 lubricant and it doesn't squeak anymore. If you're American it's probably 90 to 100 dollars. I really love it. They have many designs too.

I recently bought this to light up my back driveway. The advantage might be solar panel is separate from the light, comes connectorized so easy to feed through a window sill, and light and solar cell can be in two locations up to ~16 feet apart.

Yes, that lid basically has a push button to seal/release the lid. The lid has 3 separate parts (as far as I remember): the lid, the button, and another clear plastic under the lid.

I had that exact model. It was a good sewing machine, but eventually I stripped out some gear inside and had to scrap it. You can't sew a bunch of heavy denim with that and expect it to survive.

I’ve been looking at this one from Floyd Detroit. I have their shelves and i love them. You can also just buy the metal bits and use your own wood https://floydhome.com/collections/the-bed?gclid=CjwKCAiAoL6eBhA3EiwAXDom5naf49_8ifzPcnMxMjszNwJHhUdfsKnah2V-VnTsmvKgTteWdNrlRRoCO5MQAvD_BwE

I would disagree, you just need to find that perfect water bottle that isn't too small or too big to fill out that pocket. And another thing, I have carried 1.5-liter bottles of water in that big pocket on the bottom without any problem so I think it's great. But I could see how you don't like it, the concern of a leaking water bottle making all your stuff wet is a potential risk with this setup.

Until what happened? 300 miles isn’t where the shoe falls apart. It’s a loss in ideal cushioning.

We do have an Asian grocery store nearby (T&T market!). I’ll check there!

Look at estate sales, many have furniture that is older (in design too if that matters) but is well built

Love my Synik; however, I’d rather have an outside water bottle pocket. Didn’t realize how much I missed it until I started using the backpack.

Good boots are only as good as the socks you wear with them. I highly recommend darn tough; wool socks that stay dry, warm and comfortable with a lifetime warranty

If you want something that keeps cooler for day to day I'd go for trail running shoes then. Though the full boots I have breath pretty well. Wore them at Arches NP/Arizona and they didn't feel overly hot.

Vasque makes excellent boots for hiking. The $160 model is waterproof and very comfortable from my experience using them pretty heavy the past 8 years. Still kicking after using them for water hiking in the Zion NP Narrows.

We've had a oak frame for about 15 years it's been through 2 house moves with us and is still in perfect condition. We just got from a mass market furniture store in the UK.

New balance is one of the few to truly offer a range of width options. They even have extra wide shoes for little kids (which aren’t easy to find). The fit definitely makes a difference.

If you live near an Asian grocery store (Korean if possible) try to find some Mamison (마미손) gloves. They are usually pink (XXL size is red).

Try ordering those New Balance shoes in wide width.
