Plastic eyeglass lenses have a colorless UV absorber in the lens material. If not, the lens will yellow after a few months of exposure to the sun. That doesn't stop the promotion of UV or blue light blocking lens material as having a benefit. Any additional UV protection is superfluous. Any blue light 'protection' is based on questionable science.

Ignore the attempts to empty your wallet.

Since we're talking about leather jackets, I have one that I want restored. The outside looks fine but the inside is shredded up and I would like to get it redone if possible. Would anyone know how I could go about doing this?

Leather conditioner will go a loooong way in keeping the leather supple, avoiding cracks, and generally extending the life of the leather. Polish with help maintain the appearance (color) and add protection from water, etc.

I literally just went through this. I wanted great flannel sheets and most review sites pointed to LLBean. But LLBean is only 5 ounces and I think Eddie’s is 7 or 8. Also Eddie has better patterns, LLBean is kinda boring. I went with purchasing directly from Eddie Bauer because they had the pattern and sizes I wanted and Amazon did not. They shipped the next day and I got them a few days later. Can confirm they are amazing and I don’t regret it one bit.

No, not really. If you're worried about blue light from screens, use a red filter on them instead. If you're worried about "blue light" from the sun, it's nonsense, use UV- protection lenses instead

That's awesome. Buy a quality leather cleaner and a quality leather conditioner. Don't buy all-in-one crap like Mequiers/Mother's/ArmorAll. Personally I'd use the 2 stage Leatherique Rejuvenate and Cleaner. Use a soft bristle shoe brush. You could make that look and feel much better (don't worry, it'll still have an awesome patina and vintage look.

Still have a black Dakine that I got right before going to college. It is still going and lasted 5 years of college constantly carrying books and then it got me through law school too only losing a zipper in the process.

PLEASE CONDITION THIS JACKET! I agree, it's very very cool. I want that sucker preserved! If you don't condition, the leather will degrade at a higher rate due to drying out. And agree with others, tailor can replace zipper no problem.
