I second the Casper. I have the “essential standard” with a firm-ish core and “plush” outer layer. I’ve been through dozens of pillows, this is by far the greatest pillow invention on the planet. Somehow it stays supportive in whatever way you need it, yet cradles your head and neck in a soft pillowy kiss. I have nerve damage in my neck that makes my arm numb if I sleep on my side, but not with my BFF Casper. It is pillow perfection.

Bamix. I had a Braun for years and it was okay, but upgraded to a Bamix, it's amazing. It has a few different blades for different tasks, speed options, a spice grinder attachment, the entire bottom half of the body it metal, the blades are dishwasher safe.

I make smoothies with it in a metal cocktail shaker and it even blends the ice well.

There’s no evidence that blue blocking reduces eye strain. In short that has more to do with taking breaks, text size, and your glasses Rx.

Blue light is incredibly important and in fact should be consumed/absorbed from wake until ~60 but ideally 90 minutes before you want to be asleep. In fact, blocking blue light during the day is detrimental to your natural rhythms and has cascading effects.

Blocking at night will allow your natural melatonin expression. I use the Rise Science app to predict my circadian and get a reminder to put on blue blockers as my melatonin window approaches (time shifts daily).

For more info look up Dr. Satchin Panda (book) and several Dr. Andrew Huberman podcast episodes.

My husband had temperpedic when we met - so at least a decade ago and he was obsessed, I didn’t understand it. Then this Christmas we went into one of their stores when they were having a sale and we found my perfect pillow.

buy the nature of being an electronic device, they do indeed have a finite lifespan, and being wireless noise cancelling, they have the shortest. I personally have a pair of XM3s, and they are my second pair after daily driving the first one into the ground (these are a waranty replacement). eventually, the battery will give out, the drivers will wear, and with ANC, the "Death Squeal" will set in (sometimes, older ANC headphones will develop a squealing in certain instances as the mics and system for the ANC start failing. I don't know the exact mechanics of it, but mine have recently begun this, and learned about it).

all that said, I have had good luck with sony headphones, but electronics are unfortunately consumables and need replacing, since most things, like headphones, just aren't designed to be repaired.
