Nah. My xm2s aren't good and I rarely use them these days, back when I had them they were super good.
I now have an edifier w820nb (I am now looking at the new edifier w860, probably won't be buying it anytime soon) which sounds significantly better than my xm2s. Technology tends to improve so no point in future proofing if you get me.
Weirdly though. I have an mpow 12ipo that sounds way better than my xm2. And I got that thing for cheap.

Almost all pillows are either memory foam or polyester. Both suck. We love our Frankenmuth Woolen Mill pillows, their products are amazing

We like Rada utensils of all kinds. My grandmother has been using hers since the 60s.

Reply to comment by Crashtag in I’ve had this Dakine backpack for ~17 years and have taken it on all my trips. The zippers on this thing still work like they are new. All my other backpacks have had their zippers break off so this is my old trusty pack. by cumaboardladies
No worries thank you, any info is welcome to me tbh I'm still making my mind up. I guess I'll stop by a local UA store & see if they still carry the stuff & it's quality but I'm also looking around for reliable brands

I second tempur-pedic. They’re a bit pricey but 100% worth it. Had one for about 4 years and it still feels brand new.

Okay but five years still sounds like a long time considering that was still XM3. Thanks!

The plastic are the 'easy find lids' they do glass 'Brilliance' with different heights/same lid but not sure if they fit inside each other like the plastic ones do.

May be able to argue repairable ones like the sony mdr7506? Like any headphones they can get messed up, but parts for them are generally available if needed. Wired headphones though.

Got mine from some discount/offbrand amazon deal...also love it.
Definitely not for everyone, but if you can get over it being diffeent from a normal pillow, it makes for great sleep.

You're right, I have the XM3, which kinda proves my point. If you are connected to having the best thing, headphones will not be a lifelong satisfaction purchase.

Idk... I gotta say, they should exclude a product from the warranty if they don't want to stand behind it or desk with people wanting replacements

Try a 100% natural latex pillow, many brands sell them. Medium firmness will last longer than soft but ultimately a comfort decision.

XM5 came out last year. All major tech review sites say it's the best currently on the market. What other wireless ANC headphones can you suggest?

Go to an optometrist, get a prescription added to you classes. if You don’t have glasses the prescription would be 0.

It's kind of unreasonable to think of an item like headphones as bifl.
I do have a pair of these that I've had for 5 years and I like them - but honestly I don't think they're better than any other wireless over ear headphone. You can get 95% of the value elsewhere for 20% of the price.

Patagonia stands behind the product and their warranty. I was stating that individual employees don’t always appreciate when a customer walks in with a decade or older pair of underwear with holes and says their unsatisfied because it lost its elasticity or some other dumb reason when they really just want a new pair of underwear for free.
But you as a consumer can do whatever works for you.
Most companies use the term “Lifetime Warranty” as lifetime of the product, not lifetime of the purchaser. People read that and automatically think, “this pair of socks must last until my deathbed!”
It’s marketing, but the good companies (Patagonia, Darn Tough, etc…) will stand by their products and repair or replace because they understand the relationship with their customers is important.
