Based on this photo I think I love your interior design! Any chance you'd show any more of the inside of your home?

I guess you weren’t a fan. Me either. But I don’t wish tbi on anybody. What happened to her should be a warning to everyone who thinks exotic animals make good pets. Nobody needs that many cassowaries.

I mean yeah obviously, of course I do not trust a government that caves so readily to corporate interests and lobbying and does not put the health and safety of its people first. Why are you splitting hairs of two sides of the same coin.

What is sad about it?

Second vote for the COop pillows. Bought one for hubby last year and he liked it so much I bought one for myself. A nice benefit to these is their 100-day return policy, so you get the chance to really try it out!

Very socially responsible too. From what I’ve heard, the owner only takes a relatively modest salary, pays reasonable wages and does profit sharing with for the employees. One of few places that I’ll go out of my way to shop, or pay a little extra because I know I’m supporting a good company.

I have a bunch of yeti's (work in construction so basically any time you do a good job someone throws a yeti at you), I actually prefer my klean kanteen water bottles. I take my 64oz tk wide everywhere and it takes a ton of abuse. Nothing at all wrong with yeti's, they are excellent, but I prefer the klean kanteen.
Truthfully though, once you get a higher end insulated SS water bottle, all of these companies make great products and performance between them is basically identical, so get the one you like the most.

Klean kanteen for sure! Absolutely biased because their hq/distribution is local (northern California), but they make great products, stand behind them (their warranty is awesome) and take care of their employees/give back to the community.

Patagonia's softshells are expensive but worth the price of entry imo. The tech face r1 line is great for warmth and breathability that isn't bulky and easy to layer. The r2 line bumps that up and is great if you spend a lot of time in snow.

Neither are Bifl, I have had both fail within 2-3 Years of use. The fellow is better built for sure, but both will fail at some point (within a few years most likely) and be unrepairable. That being said I don't know of anything better, so that may just be the reality of the category.

Yes, I can see why it’s a hobby for so many. It’s hard to compete with retired people for thrift store and fb marketplace finds. One day when I have more time or money.

At a fair price, too. They're not racing to the bottom or cutting corners on quality (at least for most things—I won't vouch for their $15 LED shop lights), but they're not gouging people either.
Depending on options their marking gauges are $45-100, for something a woodworker will use all the time.

We are very thrifty and i search all the resale options often (fb, eBay, peddlers malls, less so Craigslist nowadays) for good deals. I refinish a lot of older pieces that need it so I don’t mind if it’s beat up when I buy it, Drexel is my favorite MCM brand. This chair was definitely a luxury purchase we saved for and thought about for awhile, as most expensive BIFL products can be, but we knew we wouldn’t find one exactly like it in the wild.

Yeah they do have some hideous couches and a few chair options are bulky and ugly as well; they are all super comfortable though.

Klean Kanteens are nice, both the insulated and non-insulated options. Hydro flask also nice, but only available with insulation
