I can't get the screw out on the screen above where the coffee goes

Why shred aluminum that you will melt anyway? I've melted aluminum on a crucible welded up from heavy pipe, the cans melted fine whole.

OP didn't say it was for running.
It's 2023. Having a dedicated MP3 player when you inevitably have a phone with you also is pretty counterintuitive and thus why they aren't commonly produced anymore.

If you want to run with a phone, run with a phone.

To be honest, any decently good coffee machine is well lasting! Most Rancilio, Gaggia, Vibiemme, Isomac, La Pavoni, are all kinda tanks.

I have the le crueset enameled 10qt stock pot. it's fine after 3 years of service, expect many more.
i do take issue with the lid design, it jingles and spits when you've got something covered and at a decent boil, but otherwise it meets expectations. main thing is it looks good :P

>Notifications can come through if you forget to disable them
There won't be any notifications if it's a used phone with no SIM card or CDMA set up.

More bulky, yes, but the battery drain is pretty slow if just using for music, and you have the benefit of wifi and apps where you can run Spotify/Pandora/Podcasts, etc if you're somewhere with wifi access, or can run the apps in offline mode.

don't worry about it. it's a shovel. if you're really trying to be anal about it, remove the hardware and soak it in evaporust overnight, gently scrub with some 000 steel wool. Rinse, dry, reinstall.

Looks rad. How does it work, is there a direct water line hooked up to it?

They only started making these things in the 90s I think so there's kind of a limit on how old they're gonna be. But there's basically nothing inside that can go wrong, as long as you aren't stupid.
Edit: from what I can tell, this model was introduced in 1997.
And just saying, every 50 year old appliance was once a 20 year old appliance and 20 years is a LONG life for a consumer appliance these days. We've gone through multiple fridges while this machine has been going making coffees.

Yeah, the valve that opens the steam wand most likely. This replaces the valve and adds the newer steam wand (because they changed some of the fittings, I would have had to replace the valve anyway, even if mine wasn't leaky.)

My youngest child is older than this machine. It’s probably a solid buy but still…

I like lowa renegades. Pretty durable (lot of stitching tho which can degrade over a long time and a lot of use), and one of the lightest with full ankle support

If you like nike, ive hiked many miles on their wildhorse shoe.
I would put altra shoes in the top. They have a few different models to chose from to suit your needs.
If youre looking for a full size hiking boot id recommend asolo. They are very stable solid boots.

That’s a bummer. Well, if you’re ever in the US or Canada… Get that app, enjoy some Starbucks, collect your 400 points really quick, and get that glass bottle! Have a great day my friend! ❤️

I haven’t bought their comforters, but I’ve been bought sheets and pillows from them for decades. Thick and silky are exactly what impressed me so much about their sheet sets. Just consistent quality and really durable sheets. The damask striped sets feel a little thinner than the solid prints.
