🤣 it’s not a deal breaker. But when people spend $2,000 on a machine they want it to be perfect

Cons: The milk frothing hose is in a weird position
Me: oh it can’t be that bad… Oh fuck it is that bad

You guys really know your fabrics.
I've tracked down some lyocell-linen blend bedding online, will treat myself.
Edit: for those in the EU go to [Muji] (https://www.muji.eu/home/home-bedlinen)

Agree. Red land sheets are fantastic. The whole thread count thing is mostly just a marketing gimmick

I've had no problems with Danish Endurance socks. They're not the warmest of the warm, but I live in North Carolina so they're nice for colder winter days. Edit to add: they're relatively inexpensive but they're a blend with only 30% wool. I'm not sure if they quite match what you're looking for.

I have “regular” legs and all mine fit just fine. I have noticed some of my Darn Tough socks fit tighter than my Smartwool ones in the area that’s where the ankle meets the foot, but it’s only in a certain style of Darn Tough and it’s really not that tight.

It's a linen percale. Most likely Irish loomed if it's heavy weight, slight slubs, and ticks that tight while still low thread count.

Fuzzy crocs. With your budget you can buy a pair to match each set of pajamas you own.

Should be quite easy to tell between linen and cotton. Linen will feel very floppy, and drape almost as if it’s weighted. Linen also creases very easily and retains creases. The texture looks like linen.

I did a lot of research a few years ago when shopping for mattresses. I doubt any are buy it for life but certainly some are better made than others.
I've been very pleased with my SleepOnLatex Medium Queen I've had for 2.5 years but certainly that's not enough time to determine its lifespan.

It has a thick felt sole & leather, so there is some cushioning, but probably there are slippers with more & softer cushioning

I have a pair of boreal droms, they're approach shoes and they're the tits. Theyre new so not sure how long they will last, but reviews did describe them as indestructible.
I got them for this reason after having la sportiva Tibetans fail after realitively little wear, 10 years old but 1 or 2 hikes a year . They became drenched inside and I could feel the water enter from where the sole meets the upper. They were the most comfortable shoe ever, even after days of hiking but I don't think I will ever be able to trust the brand after a failure like that.

Depends on the plastic bag. They do take a lot less energy and resources to make, and can potentially last an insane amount of time. So a good quality plastic bag that will last is a great choice. Cheap crap that's made to be thrown away is always a bad choice.

Ha! Lucky you!
This one was originally my mom's, also. Only she bought it new, right out of high school, and used it tons - many of my clothes as a child were made on it.
I learned to sew on it when I was in elementary school, she let me take it with me to college (she has other machines), and it's been the most reliably useful thing I've owned ever since.

Oh you fucking scored on this one, I’d take that thing in a heartbeat. I would certainly buy a used car before I bought that frustrating yet amazing espresso machine lol.
