Cordless shark freestyle upright for 100$. Also have a 30$ Bissell for small stuff at work. Walmart has a bunch of good brands.

To be fair I’ve always bought the “cheap” models. Stuff usually under $75. It’s only the bast few years they have started to wear this fast. I used to get at least a year out of them.

Youre buying cheap models of the brands listed. Spend closer to 100-120$ original msrp of those brands and youll have a much higher quality shoe

Sharks are apparently not that repairable but mine is going strong for 5 years now. Really I could never use a vacuum without the dual head again. Its just the best vac head possible.

I've had this Lifefactory one and it is great. Glass with a silicone outer. The handle is trash. You can see it is turning white and will fall off. Luckily I bought it for the bottle and not the handle so I don't care. The spout top is perfect for me but they sell other tops that are in the price range of a Porche. Good bottle though.

I was just reading about the very high lead and cadmium levels in paint on vintage Corelle. I would think washing it in the dishwasher might expose other dishes to tiny flakes of the paint. Of course, you should ignore me if you feel comfortable using it but I thought it was worth mentioning for those who consider it a factor.

For years, I used a glass water bottle with a silicone protective outer layer for the very reason you described. Starbucks used to sell them.
Also, I do have one stainless steel suggestion. I currently use an Artic water bottle, and it's been great. It doesn't taste like metal at all.

Fair enough, I have one pair but i don’t wear them for work. I also buy them out of local pride (I live in San Antonio).
