Another happy g502 owner here. Mine must be going on 7 years now and barely shows any wear. You really can’t go wrong.

Yeah except these blenders suck. They don't die, true. But compared to a vitamix, you may as well use a hand held immersion blender or even a food processor. The old vita mixes slap, but generally you couldn't pay me to use one of these old dogs after seeing how smooth a new vita mix can get....anything. there is a reason vita mix is a staple in literally nearly every professional kitchen. They are irreplaceable.

I'm extremely impressed with my Razer Synapse. Cord seems super durable. Have had it for 5 years with zero issues so far.

Which ones have you tried? I have a Logitech G502 Hero, which has beefy strain relief and a braided cable sheathe. I've used this thing hard, an embarrassing number of hours a day, since I use it for work and leisure. Like, 12+ hours most days for the past 3 years, and it looks brand new.

Blenders fit this sub better than most products. They are a product that was turned chintzy since the 90s and on. Olive green is a good sign for any blender.

Absolutely love Lisa Marie, mine was named Lorelai (I was a very big Gilmore Girls fan at the time). Nope, nothing was ever replaced or required repairs! Just regular maintenance. I guess one time I had a giant ding repaired in my door because someone hit and ran me......while I was sitting in the car. Locked eyes with me and everything 😂. But she was only 2-3 at the time haha.

Ours died sometime in the late 90’s. My aunt had a “mustard” yellow, it was more like pee color, it died around 2005.

Like a lot of the other commenters have mentioned, you'll probably want 2-3 coats for the weather:
- a long down puffy coat for very cold days
- a waterproof jacket that you can wear a sweater under when it's cooler/wet but not cold enough for the big coat (think 40 - 70 F)
- and optionally, what I call a "fashion coat", or a wool coat that is warm but the primary value is "looks pretty" (good for dry winter weather that isn't too cold)
For the first, I would recommend Land's End. Good quality, lasts a long time, and very warm. On a good sale you can get a coat there for around 100 dollars, which is by far the cheapest you'll find outside of secondhand. You'll probably want this coat to be around knee length. That being said, you can definitely get lucky on secondhand stores.
The second coat is because the Northeast is wet, and there will be plenty of days that won't be cold enough for the heavy coat but will still be clammy and cool. I usually wear a (mostly) waterproof jacket with a sweater layered underneath. If you don't already have a jacket that works for this, mine is an Athleta knee length rain jacket and it's been perfect. Bought it a year and half ago and I've worn it for weeks on end and it still looks good.
The third coat you don't really need, but most people enjoy having a coat that isn't a big puffy jacket because it looks prettier. You probably won't use this coat until next winter, so once you move, thrift stores are a great place to find options. If you're shopping secondhand, you'll want something that's at least 30-40% wool for warmth.

I’m currently driving a 2004 RAV4. She has something like 180k miles on her. In the 8 years I’ve been driving it. I had to replace the gas tank and the muffler. Did you have to do any repairs other than regular maintenance stuff to get yours into the 300k+ club?
When I say her, I think she’s a feminine car. I have never named her….I named my last RAV4 from 98’ “ Lisa Marie” and we made it to the 200k miles club before someone went through a red light and t boned me. I mourned “Lisa Marie” so much I vowed to never love another car that much again…..I’m afraid to name my current car, can’t let myself get that attached.

I have a wired G502 Logitech that I've had since 2015, still kicking. It's a gaming mouse so it comes with extra buttons, but I use it for work so I programmed the extra buttons to be copy/paste, forward/back (browser), and an emoji button. Plus as a Logitech it has that stupid gimmicky infinity scroll thing I've come to love oh so incredibly much; hit that button and run the wheel and it goes for miles. It's so cathartic to infinity scroll. It feels really good, I can't describe it. Liked it so much I nabbed 2 wireless versions in a prime day sale for $70 a piece last year.
I think the wired version is like 50 bucks these days.
The cord is wrapped in braided nylon so it doesn't fray easily. Highly recommend.
After almost a decade the left mouse button is double clicking on occasion just from wear and tear, but not a point that makes it unusable (other than in excel). My new wireless ones don't have the same issue yet and will probably see use into the 2040s.
Just saying.

seconding Land's End - I bought their mid-thigh length puffer coat in 2017 and it's still going strong. Super warm, hood is detachable, pockets are lined with sweater material AND zippable, and internal cuffs at the wrists to trap heat. I'm 5' 4" and the normal XS fits me well, but it also comes in petite if that's your preference.
source on quality of coat: I lived in Chicago and wore it in 0 F weather.
Best of all, Land's End is probably the only place you'll be able to find a good long puffy coat (which is the coat you will need below 30 F) for around 100 dollars. Otherwise the price for a good coat is usually 200-300. Just wait for one of their 50% sales and you should be under the 100 dollar mark.

My work laptop in about as locked down as you can get short of disabling the USB ports but a Logitech mouse with unifying receiver works just fine.

I think it's like a nylon. But I am not 100% sure. I know it's not metal.
Edit: looked again, seems like more of a polyester.
