Had to scroll way too far. These things were built to last. Get one of these OP, unless you need better ergonomics like a vertical mouse or a Logitech trackman. (The red imo is much better, but requires frequent cleaning if the ball/contact points and will only last a year or two of heavy use before the switches start to double click and stuff...but so will the oddly highly recommended deathadders. Hell, I often got 6mo if even out of those.)

New Logitech has better build quality than new razer (mice)

I have the new deathadder and it creeks if I squeeze it but my superlight doesn't. Both make great mice, I think I currently prefer the v3pro though

G502 wireless or nothing.

For gaming, it's too heavy though but still a great mouse. Btw I didn't think it was too heavy till after switching and it took a while to adjust

My grandma had a 1996 Toyota Tercel that she bought brand new, and then gave to my dad when she died about 10,000 miles in. My dad drove it until 2010, then sold it to me for 400$ with 280,000 miles on it. I continued to drive it for three years until I joined the navy, when I parked it in my parents back yard.

It sat for 3 years, never started, until I came home to grab it on leave. Started it on the first crank with a jump pack, and drove it 200 miles back to my house. Continued driving it while the wife had the new car. Got her up to 350,000 miles. Sold her to a buddy for 400$, and he drove it another 50k. He sold it to another mutual friend for 400$, and it just crossed the 500k milepost, in 2023. We keep a groupchat alive just for that car and it's owners.

I don't disagree that it will run forever. It will also smell like burning every time you use it (at least my parents did). The quality of the blend in the final product in an actual good blender is better to me than "it won't ever die". I can put toasted nuts in my smoothies and NOT have them be Grainy and gross. I can make nut flour, I can make oat flour. I can grind spices. I understand wanting something that will run forever. I personally prefer something that returns a better end product.

I appreciate your modern view. I'm not much of a blender user. Mostly an ice cruncher. In general I just appreciate these old models for powering through wooden spoons and spatulas throughout their tenon. There are better blenders but, for what they were made for in the time they were made, this blender will run forever.
