Reply to Guys, ROTHY’S! They don’t have a lifetime guarantee, but I’ve had this pair 6 years and look at them! These were an absolute muddy mess before I threw them in the washer. Bonus, they are even comfortable. by mrsmeesiecks
If I persuade anyone to get a pair, you should know that the sizing runs 1 size small, so size up. Also, they will make your feet smell terrible even if you don’t have smelly feet. I suggest buying ballet socks!
Edit- You definitely need an entire size up

There needs to be a BIFL store that's ONLY durable, over-engineered products and appliances.

I keep mine on a lanyard. Easy to find in my pocket or purse and I can wear it when I need to.

I put a combination lock on one of my house doors. The mail box key lives in a bowl in the house. The only key I carry is my car key. Less keys to carry, less keys to lose.

I use a Keysmart because I used to lose my keys too easily (I've even lost them off of carabineers clipped to my belt loops) and I really like that I can have a carabineer that doesn't open so easily, the keys don't jangle and flop anymore, I can have a multi tool and a pocket knife and a flashlight integrated, so it's an all-around EDC for me.

Nah, not really. I'd prefer something simpler, like a carabiner.

Agreed. I have a carabiner with my house keys and If I take my car ill clip on my car key. If I take my wife's car ill hook on her car key. If I take my work truck I hook on that car key. No sense in carrying keys you won't need.

I guess only 4 are essential. That's still a significant amount of keys.

Most leather boots can handle fangs. I prefer older style boots, modern rubbers and padding get compressed, stretched, sunbleached, etc, and you dont have that problem with just leather.

$30 rubber pull over rain boots or similar I think would suffice.... clean them off after use and your golden.
Edit: after rereading i agree... basically what chocilate_spaghetti said.

We got the taller version of this and love it. Our large dog has not gotten into it. Our size is larger than regular kitchen bags, though.

Have kids. They'll last 18-20 years or so.

I carry a generic-brand version of the Orbitkey holder and it's been great. Can't imagine having everything loose anymore.

That is really a key. I have totally given up on the green options. Heavy wash baby. I want them clean.

I ask myself that same question about every 6 months as I get lazy and finally decide to unload all the shit from my pockets. The big work ring? Leave it at work. All the backups? Secure at home.
Current rotation is:
1 car key, in my pocket. 1 house key, in my work bag 1 work key, on a belt clip with my work ID card, on my belt. 1 backup work key, in my work bag.
Maximum 2 keys on my person at any one time, and minimal chance of losing more than one of them.
They all live on individual hooks by my front door, so if I get to my car without a car key, I can tell right away that I also don’t have my belt work key, then I shamefully go back inside for both.

If there is glass in the pump the pump probably wasn’t broken as the pump impeller is driven by a magnetic field through the plastic so there’s isn’t much to break, I’ve pulled broken glass out from our dishwasher twice and it’s still working fine, if you’re even remotely handy it’s not hard to fix most dishwasher problems yourself.
