I used to use rubbing alcohol on my shoes, it absolutely does work although it gives them a slightly different whiff - but it’s not obnoxious.

My dumbass read "pissed". I was like, "well yeah she's pissed, you took her pot!".

LOVE my Rothy’s. I wouldn’t wear them for a ton of walking due to the arch support issue, but that still makes them appropriate for so many events.

Careful putting a pot in fire, they tend to turn black

I had this happen, too!! I had bought a pair in my "normal" size, and they "mostly" fit, but rubbed the wrong way. I thought they would stretch because they are knit. They did NOT stretch.
Bought a second pair half a size up and they are great and I adore them.

The difference is cooking is typically way shorter time than food storage. Google it, but here's a snippet I found..
"Since proteins can form complexes with metal atoms, such as iron, in the pan, and acidic foods, such as tomatoes, cabbage, lemon, sauces, etc., can react with the stainless steel, causing leaching of the material into the food."

Ohh I will judge. How dare you buy an item that's made out of recycled plastic second-hand?! I'm all for it!! Thanks for the info.. perhaps someone experienced the blisters and will let me know.

I’ve always worn these but in a 6” ankle. These are taller and maybe better for your needs.
I’ve had ~3 pairs in 10-12 years that i wear daily for work outside and abuse heavily. Gotta keep them cleaned up and oiled but they are the best.

Lanyard all day, loop the lanyard around a belt loop and stash the keys in a pocket. Whip em out when you need to use them and then put them right back. Always attached youll never lose them

Agreed! I have two pairs that I have been wearing for at least 5 years. They still look brand new.

Most people wear far more arch support than they actually need. Sure, some people have deformities which make it necessary, but a lot of people just have weak feet and wear increasingly built-up shoes as a crutch, further crippling themselves.
