Would you say the transmission fluid changing advice applies to a car you're driving just to and from work?

I feel like BIFL could definitely translate as “I love these so much” that you’d be happy to buy another pair once they’ve been worn out. I didn’t know what other sub to post this to so I can get 5+ years from them, I’d be satisfied. But yeah, I’m not going to be doing anything heavy duty in them and they’ll be in my rotation of other footwear if I buy them.

How do you wash the underbody in the winter? I could see going to a car wash but that’s expensive. I tried pressure washing and bringing everything inside to dry but it was a ton of work bringing the hose and everything out and super messy in the house.

You can just sort the sub by top of all time

The electric blanket throw I have from Amazon is:
Tefici Electric Heated Blanket Throw,Super Cozy Soft Flannel 50" x 60" Heated Throw with 3 Fast Heating Levels & 4 Hours Auto Off,Machine Washable,ETL&FCC Certification,Home Office Use,Moose
I have several actually. They last a long time and are nice and warm. Sometimes I have to turn it down. It's currently $31.
Certainly not BIFL but I don't know of any BIFL electric blankets.

I wear them five days a week as a military member and have since 2015. They run true to size/slightly larger. E.g. I wear a 12. I typically wear a 12 in every other shoe but sometimes wear a 12.5.
But, I wouldn't call them BIFL. The soles won't hold up as long as heavier duty boots. The soles are what make them so comfortable and light but it comes at the cost of longevity. Im on my second pair now but I do love them and especially for the price.

A good quality wool blanket. I personally like Topsy Farms as a smaller, family owned company- I have 2 wool blankets from them that are about 20 years old now. I also have a Hudson Bay blanket that's older than me as well.
I recently got an alpaca throw blanket from AppalachainGearCompany that is a bit lighter weight but so far is great when I just need a little something. I can't say for sure it's a BIFL but so far it seems good quality.

Ditto to down throws and fleece lined tights.

If only Ron Swanson had that plow on the front of his truck, it would have taken the damage caused by that baby crib he built.

Try an electric lounging blanket, they’re inexpensive, use very little power and have auto shut off etc. Lifesaver for me

That's a good idea for a sub, just spreadsheets of the most popular content on each sub they could

The zephyrs look nice :) I wouldn’t mind a more military profile if they were for outdoor work/hiking. I’m looking to use mine for more every day use like commute. What size shoes do you normally wear and is that what you chose for the Danners? How quickly did they start to wear down?

Someone posted a Chat Gpt based link some days ago that reads the sub content and summarizes.
