I have a backup handy, but it's not something that I'd necessarily trust for extensive use, and it's only useful if I'm actually home.
In other words, if I need to switch to it to fly out to a one-off and I'm already home, it's fine. If I'm going out on a four month long tour, I really don't want that to be my main bag for for months. And if I'm in the middle of a tour and thousands of miles from home, that backup is useless to me.

Mine has been with me at 120 feet underwater. I was sure it would bust, but it didn’t.

I have one of the old ones like that, they are rad because the insert is glass, not plastic like the new ones.

Not usually. The right one only has empty cans and plastic wrappers. The left one only general household waste, which also isn't usually heavy.
Paper and compost, which are typically heavier, are separate. And we have a separate 30l rubbish bin for the cat litter.

One of my buddies has a favorite story. He used to work as a paramedic. They got a call for a wellness check for a senior.
Guy passed in the tub, was in there for a week before the wellness check.
Buddy said everything just kinda sloughed off the bones when they finally went to move him.

Why not just have a backup handy? I mean I know you might be stuck if you aren’t home, but I would look at having a backup since you travel so much.
I have bought cases from Travel Pro, Samsonite, and Beis within the last year and have been happy with all three. (All three have different uses…Travel Pro-checked, Samsonite-carry on for 3 days max for business travel (has laptop pocket/charger), and Beis- more for leisure or if I am going to be gone for a week. I am super happy with the Beis for the price that I may end up getting one of their checked bags for a long trip next year.

Lol in the rifle video I'm pretty sure he just threw a bullet at the watch. It wasn't straight and still had the casing on it

I was looking for a good under kitchen sink garbage can that attached to the door and took the lid off for you. I couldn’t find one and remembered liking the one my parents had at their place (since about 1991). Got the name from my mom and it’s been the first thing I’ve bought in every home I’ve owned lol. Fantastic product even if it is expensive.

I've noticed the same issue with Columbia, my 10 yr old shirts are awesome, still going strong. New ones tear easily, shrink like crazy too. Love my darn tough socks, only brand I own.
