Frankly, they’re worth every penny. I was originally spending about $500 on work boots a year at 2x $250 pairs a year. They’ve already paid for themselves.

Woah, that's quite the price tag.

I’m reminded of that quote from HOT SHOTS!: “American planes will always be superior as long as there are wonderful men like you in the cockpit. And German parts.”

A few minutes after I wrote that, I was out on the road and saw an amazing +/-1990 318i E30. Man, THAT was a car.
Those SLs from the 90s are awesome too!

I also thought this was my dad at first. He didn't get a smartphone until like 2016, though. I doubt he knows what Reddit is/how to use it.

Try Stellar. Specifically the 7000 series draining saucepans, they match what you are asking for (beware not all the range has the draining lids, check this first). I have only used them for a couple of years at home but I really like them and they seem to be great quality, solid. The Rocktanium non stick pans are also great. I’m no expert on the toxicity of nonstick coatings but the rocktanium coating is much more durable that Teflon coatings, mine still look brand new.
The only trouble is they are a UK brand, you cannot buy direct to Denmark from their website it seems, but hopefully you can find an outlet that will. In UK they are available on Amazon so hopefully you have choices.
They also have a griddle pan for pancakes… also available in nonstick

I had never heard about them. How do think their fit compare to Darn Tough's?

The amphias got better diving rating compared to g shock. But the g shock can absorb way more shock and beating for sure.

Been discontinued. The Uppland is supposedly the new version. Can't speak on the quality.

Yeah that’s one thing that’s really frustrating about KitchenAid in recent years is they aren’t really straightforward about which models are built better than others. Unless you get the biggest pro model, you’re getting a small, not very powerful motor.
The “Professional” 500 has a 475W motor, versus the Pro-Line 7qt which has a 1.3HP (970W equivalent) motor. The motor in the Pro 7qt is not only more powerful, but it’s built different electronically.

Yes, at 14 pounds it's 3-4 pounds heavier than some of the other bags I'm looking at. And since I'm already sitting at 50 pounds on the mark and having to leave things behind with the bag I'm replacing (which was sub-10 pounds), I can't afford to go UP that much in weight.

Too heavy? They arent bad:
A Pelican Air 1615 is max checked bag size and weighs 14lbs. A Pelican Air 1535 is max carryon sized and weighs less than 9lbs.
Its unlikely that you will ever break these. And if you ever do Pelican will send parts no questions asked.

There’s no luggage manufacturer that’ll do quick returns or exchanges. I’m not saying to bring the backup with you. I’m saying if your travel needs are greater than six days to bring a carryon and checked luggage. Depending on who your travel with (airline) you should have status and get free checked luggage for your first 2 checked bags. Have the backups at home. This way you minimize downtime. If you’re saying you don’t have extra space in your home for additional luggage then you’re sol. I keep my spares inside of other luggage (overnight bag inside of carryon and carryon inside of checked bag).

Mmn I'm sure they are. I really like the design too. They'll have to go on the long term wish list.
