That brings back some memories.
On a side note, I’d appreciate the invite for a nice pot roast dinner! I’ll bring a box of wine?!?!

I have one of their messenger bag/briefcases and it’s a tank. A bit on the heavy side but I’d definitely put it in the BIFL category.

Nope this one comes out. I have the exact same one. Was my grandmas, I got it as a hand me down in my 1st apartment, been using regularly some 13 years later now.

I have the simple backpack from Saddleback and it is without a doubt bifl. I don’t know about this particular line. The backpack I have is pretty heavy and not super comfortable for long periods of time like hiking or biking, but walking across a college campus from class to class it was great.
ETA - I have a few other items that are also great. The only item I own that I don’t think will last is their leather bifold wallet (I believe it’s been discontinued).

Thanks!

Excuse me for the question or if it's against the rules, but are you looking to sell it?

is that the one that the ceramic bowl can’t be removed? I ruined one just like this one that the bowl was permanently in there. PITA to clean so I tried to see if it can be taken out and it can’t.

Gotta be careful with those old ceramics. A lot of em leach lead. Idk about these but just an FYI.
Awesome crockpot otherwise.

If you make a post with what you're looking for you'll get many good suggestions. Or there is the suggestion sticky. Nebo isn't inherently bad, there are just many better and without the proprietary charging port. (many now use USB c)

Those old ones are better! Many of the new ones boil even on the low setting. You want around 185 degrees, just shy of a boil. My 1972 model still works, has removable crock, cost me $22, a princely sum back then.

I always wondered what that did. Would it go from hot to warm or something?

Got the same one man. Works good, but that food will overflow it.

I checked over there but couldn’t find anything that matches the same characteristics that it makes it perfect for me, like resist water/impact, small, rechargeable and good battery management

Thank you! I actually don't mind the thinner leather per se, just wish it had some sort of back support.
vesati t1_jdmzp36 wrote
That is from their Hogsback line, which is a thinner and lighter weight leather than their more known Saddleback line.
It will likely be more durable than the average questionable leather bag from an online source, but it likely won't be as durable or heavy as the regular Saddleback line.

You nailed it with this comment. It took a while for me to learn how to cook on cast iron. Now I'll never go back.

I used to have that exact one. Was great, with that auto shift, lost it in a move, wish I still had that one. Enjoy it!

So I’m a bit confused, the product page says 100 year warranty, but the general hogsback page says 10 at the bottom.
