Grab a pair of Stanley 99e utility knives, a pack of heavy duty straight blades, and a pack of heavy duty hook blades. Color code the knives with paint, and mark one of them with something that can be felt even through work gloves. Plumbers epoxy putty works well for this. Rough up the finish with sandpaper and put a glob of it somewhere that is easy to feel without interfering with usage.
I've tried every kind of utility knife and keep coming back to the 99e because it just works. You can easily carry two of them in your back pocket, open/close them one handed, and identify the blade type by touch (with a little modification).

Beautiful ride. Those tires did right by me for years on hard pack.
Maybe it's the camera angle, but it looks like a hybrid mustache bar. Are the brakes comfortable to use if your hands are not in the drops?

Piper Sandals out of San Antonio,Tx. I have had mine for about 8 years and sent them in for new soles once so far. If you want to pick up a pair at a discount check eBay. Postmark, or similar. Careful with the sizing it is unique to the brand.

https://www.hammacher.com/ is an often forgotten BIFL retailer. REI is an in store solution. https://www.filson.com/ is another maker/retailer. Now keep in mind, we are talking about warranty here, not literal BIFL as there's a difference.

This made me actually laugh out loud in bed and wake the wife up!! My wife calls the soda I take my pills with a "Sleepy Soda" since I never finish at bedtime.

Dude, people literally make posts in that sub that basically ask “how do I drink more water?”

Also, this instantly made me remember the under-cabinet radios…I wish they still made mounted stuff…it sure saves counter space if you don’t have a big kitchen

Pretty cool bike. It reminds me of something an off-grid person would have.

You are probably referring to that shape in the background, but I think it's a small dead tree or a bush. Weirdly, no trace of a bike anywhere.

Yep, whenever I make coffee how mom used to, it ain't good, but it tastes like home. Definitely requires the copious amounts of non-dairy creamer and Sweet & Low we grew up with.

Pretty much every category of goods has small businesses retailers that specialize in high quality offerings. In terms of chains, I think Apple Store, Crutchfield, Design Within Reach, Nike Store, Patagonia, Sur la Table, William Sonoma all carry consistently good quality things.

You do understand my point? The sub they are talking about is specifically about drinking water. Often plain but sometimes with lemon or cucumber, etc.
No one is claiming that soda is not mostly water. But people drinking soda don’t say they are drinking water. They say they are having soda.

Half the people I know hate water. My aunt even told me that after 40 years of marriage she’d never seen my uncle drink water— he even took medicine with juice or soda.

And if you're not sure what kind of water you have, they sell test strips for very little money. You'll end up with way more than you'll ever need, but they actually make good gifts (I'm not kidding)
